In a bid to replace falling ad revenue, big media publishers are inundating the web with bad product recommendations you can’t trust.
Google is killing independent sites like ours through inaction.
We hope to still be here to see things change:

It's starting to become painfully obvious which brands are using AI for blog content.
They're not even doing human-editing, just copying and pasting AI generated content onto their site.
The next couple years in SEO/content marketing are going to be very interesting...
An overlooked opportunity for this AI content era is lawyers who specialize in plagiarism.
There's one popular AI tool in particular that's copying content word-for-word. And some big companies are using them.
It'll be very interesting to see this play out.
What Kevin is doing with Epic Gardening is... well, EPIC.

A couple of years ago I had an idea to start a website targeting the keyword pattern "how many [*]" (example: how many spaces in a tab).
Didn't end up doing it, but I found thousands of easy-to-rank keywords in the process.

Big news: Indie Hackers is indie again!
Six years ago, @Stripe acquired @IndieHackers to help us grow and inspire millions of people building online businesses.
From today on, @channingallen and I will be joining their ranks as founders ourselves! Step #1 — generate revenue 😅
Shout out to the people telling you to use an AI content tool (🐨) to create "SEO articles" in bulk.
Hate to break it to you, but most of them have barely used the tool themselves (if at all).
And they wouldn't be recommending it if they weren't incentivized.
