If you believe GHL here you are part of the problem. The DA dropping to sub 50% will be a great thing. It will force them into coalition with the FF+ and the FF+ can then use this leverage to stop the DA's insane redistribution policies and their animal licences and their selling off of city land to fund their insane budgets.
What the DA effectively wants to protect is their grip on sole power in the city of Cape Town so they can continue their anti growth policies that have led to a lack of new houses being built and an affordability crises that is entirely avoidable if you actually allowed people to build and develop properties without having to beg daddy government for permissions that constantly seem to change.

Some thoughts on the mess at Manchester United, including the crisis of leadership throughout. The only blameless people are the fans. #MUFC

Lausanne bottom of the Swiss league. Nice 10th in Ligue 1. Man United 16th in the Premier League. All three clubs owned by INEOS. Tells you everything you need to know. Jim Ratcliffe hasn’t got a clue how to run a football club. 👍 #MUFC

You’re never going to be an attacking threat when 95% of your attacks involve the ball ending up at the feet of Diogo Dalot

Nice one Dalot. Read some amount of shit on here this week about how he deserves more credit blah blah blah. He's absolutely fuckin dog shit.

Outside of a couple players, Utd have a mediocre squad, mid table at best. A club that used to have 4 strikers now doesn’t have a single number 9 to choose from. The self proclaimed“biggest club in the world” has one half fit left back who was bought 12 years ago for 27m. The last time Utd were in the Champions League they supported their manager by signing a left back who Spurs were about to release, 3 years later, Utd are somehow in an even worse position. Yet these people impose Real Madrid expectations on their Manager and want to turn OT into a gated community for wealthy day trippers. To them, Utd are a business that happens to play football.

“He could have solved world hunger instead of building a flying car”
My brother in Christ,
In 2021 the UN claimed they could solve world hunger with $6 Billion.
Elon offered them the $6 Billion if they were transparent with where the funds were going.
The UN never took his offer.

I still hear people say ‘if Man City are guilty’ in almost every debate.
They’re guilty. The Premier League has found them guilty.
Man City have appealed their guilty verdict. For now, they are still guilty.
Please do not change the facts.

The fact that a 15 year old child wanting to leave man united before he's even been in a matchday squad got so much attention from sky sports, yet a club being found guilty of 114 charges gets such little airtime and criticism is nuts

Carrick is a decent guy and he pulled of a miracle getting Utd in to the Champions League. They rewarded him by not signing a single defender despite the fact he only has one half fit left back, 3 injury prone centre backs, a young kid who hasn’t had 15 starts in the PL, and two average RB’s then saddled him with Real Madrid expectations. It’s time we heard from Wilcox

I’m like a broken record with Dalot. But the kid is the stupidest footballer I’ve ever come across. The first thing I was taught at football was don’t clear across the goal, or hit and hope to the center of the pitch. Always hit the channels. It’s just brain dead stuff.

I have seen many “neutrals” claiming Carrick is a repeat of the Ole situation. What they mean is Ole won many games when he was interim and when we have him the permanent job “it didn’t work out”.
I hear this again and again from “neutrals”. Let me ask. What do you mean by it didn’t work out?
If your definition of working out at United is winning big trophies then you are living in a past life. That Manchester United doesn’t exist anymore. No manager is going to win trophies under our owners. Glazers have taken out a billion from the club. Give your owners a billion from your club revenue and we will see where your clubs falls into.
United as a club don’t operate to win big trophies anymore. That’s just not the ambition or target from the ownership. That’s a fact. Fans don’t like it, but fans don’t have any power.
Going back to Ole, when he was given the permanent job he finished 3rd and 2nd in consecutive PL seasons. Thats as good as it gets for United right now.
To the “neutrals” who are essentially ill-informed about United, but everyone has a big say because it’s Manchester United, stop living in the past. If Carrick does what Ole did, it would be seen as major success by the United hierarchy.
