Est-ce que le ministre @DavidMcGuinty peut demander aux Forces armées canadiennes de corriger rapidement ce message?

Carney and the liberals are signing Canadian taxpayers up for Generational Debt, your grandkids will still be paying the EU trading bloc billions annually to withdraw, the UK is still paying for Brexit.
Once Canada becomes an Associate member of the EU, if it decides to withdraw from the EU trading bloc which it pays approximately six billion annually for membership fees there is an exit fee.
The financial settlement for the United Kingdom's exit was ultimately estimated by HM Treasury to be around £30.2 billion to £42.5 billion paid out gradually over several decades.
While direct budgetary payments to the EU budget ended, the UK continues to pay an ongoing "cost of Brexit" in the form of reduced trade, lower gross domestic product (estimated by economists at roughly a 6% hit to the economy), increased customs paperwork and overheads, and lost tax revenues.
If the UK ever reverses course and attempts to rejoin the European Union, independent estimates from think tanks like the Bow Group project that annual gross contributions could range from £28 billion to £41 billion per year.
The EU Associate membership is nothing more than a trap for Canadian Taxpayers.

If this isn’t a good example of why we need to have some sort of basic intelligence test before letting people vote, I don’t know what is.
The current contract between the feds & Starlink is small & primarily used for 2 things, one CDN special forces needs when deployed abroad & mobile communications for emergency response services in remote areas. Several provincial gov’s have similar contracts for use in remote areas..
Telesat remains a fantasy system that is based on having limited CDN coverage & bandwidth by 2028 (by using SpaceX to get their small number of LEO satellites into with orbit) & full coverage over Canada by 2038. That won’t help the CAF with their needs & the military contract recently awarded is for GEO satellites & even further down the road.
Telesat are solely reliant on SpaceX for launching their satellites & the GoC for funding (both contracts & loan guarantees & grants) & have never once met a timeline they set but hey fuck @elonmusk ‘s Starlink just not his SpaceX rockets, right? 😎
Canada is officially cutting ties with Elon Musk's Starlink.
Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed Canada is moving away from Starlink, heavily backing a $2.3B contract for homegrown rival Telesat Lightspeed instead.
We have the best PM hands down! 🇨🇦👏

Up until a few years ago, Ontario municipalities shared recycling costs with food producers 50/50. The policy was then updated to put all costs on food and beverage producers.
But then the costs of the program ballooned 500%.
Our fairly small company is tracking to pay $1 million in stewardship fees this year. 3 years ago we paid a few thousand dollars - for the year.
We need to control recycling costs, these charges are raising the price of groceries behind the scenes, and making it hard for small food producers to grow.

Carney to Alberta (Ryan Jespersen podcast): “Am I open to constitutional reform? Yes… The constitution is not unamendable.”
Carney to the press gallery the next day: “That’s not what I said at all.” Then the pivot—constitutional change is “difficult,” “long,” “not necessary,” “we don’t start there.” Just “pragmatic common solutions.”
Same man. Same week. Different rooms.
Alberta just voted. Separation was rejected, but the other questions showed clear demand for more provincial power—immigration, courts, Senate, opt-outs. Carney told Albertans “no to the nine” beforehand. Now he pretends the door was never open.
This is the pattern. Soft talk for the West when cameras are friendly. Immediate walk-back when Ottawa presses. He has no intention of delivering real structural change for Alberta. The framing changes with the audience. The outcome never does.
Alberta noticed. #cdnpoli
Mark Carney said one thing to Ryan Jespersen and another when pressed by the parliamentary press gallery today on constitutional reform
To Ryan Jespersen (Real Talk podcast, ~Oct 16): “Am I open to constitutional reform? Yes, I’m open to it… but I’m open to it with laying the groundwork for consensus. And part of the way you… lay groundwork for that is you build trust, you build on success, you move forward.”
He also stated: “The constitution is not unamendable, to be clear.”
The Toronto Star turned these remarks into the “Carney opens door to constitutional change” story ahead of the Alberta referendum
To the parliamentary press gallery today: When a reporter followed up on the implication that he was open to constitutional change: “I’m sorry, you have no interest in having constitutional change? No, don’t. I didn’t say. That’s not what I said at all.”
He then stressed that he favors “working now pragmatically to common solutions,” noted that constitutional change is difficult and long, and argued issues such as immigration should be handled through federal-provincial cooperation without opening the Constitution. He framed constitutional reform as something “we don’t start there” and that is “not necessary.”
The flipPodcast (Alberta-focused audience): “Yes, I’m open to it.”
Press gallery when directly asked what that means: “That’s not what I said at all,” followed by a clear preference for non-constitutional routes.
Same Prime Minister, different rooms, different messages yet AGAIN!
The “open to constitutional change” line that generated headlines gets walked back the moment the gallery presses him on it... then he rushes away @MarkJCarney

Most decaf coffee is made with methylene chloride. It's the solvent that used to be in paint stripper.
The green beans are steamed, then washed in methylene chloride, which pulls out the caffeine and not much else. The beans are steamed again to drive off the solvent and then roasted at over 400F. FDA allows up to 10 parts per million. When a lab tested 24 decaf brands in 2020 it found the solvent in 10 of them at about 0.05 to 0.1 ppm, around 100 times below the limit. The industry calls this the European method.
There are 3 other ways to do it. Ethyl acetate, a solvent that can be made from sugarcane, which the trade calls the natural method. Carbon dioxide under pressure. And the Swiss Water process, which uses hot water and carbon filters and no solvent at all. Peet's says all of its decaf is water process. Starbucks has told reporters most of its decaf is the direct contact method, meaning solvent.
EPA banned most uses of methylene chloride in 2024, but food is FDA's job, so decaf wasn't part of it. A petition to pull it from food has sat at FDA since December 2023. FDA reopened comments on it in May and hasn't decided. If the bag says Swiss Water or water process, no solvent touched it. If the bag says nothing, you don't know.

There is no "blind trust". Carney did not divest himself of anything, as decent leaders are required to do. He knows exactly what is in his investments, so is well aware of spending Cdns tax $ and pension funds to benefit himself. No accident Brookfield is involved everywhere.
Replying to @WorkingCdns
Mark Carney lied about his blind trust
His so-called “blind” trust isn’t blind at all because he knows what he put in the trust, he chose his own trustee, was allowed to give the trustee instructions & the trustee is also allowed to give him regular updates.
Also, Carney owns stock options in Brookfield Corp & BAM that he can’t sell for years, so he knows for sure that he has those investments.

A woman with a megaphone complains to police about the videographer standing across the road, after having just chased him away from the demonstration. She falsely accuses him of supporting genocide.
She then speculates about the size of the officers’ genitalia and whether they beat their wives.
For her, protesting appears to provide a pretext for making inflammatory accusations and degrading personal remarks about strangers.

WATCH:
A dozen or so protesters gather outside the Best Defence Conference in London, ON.
Aggressive members of the group attempt to dominate public space, forcing the videographer down the sidewalk and onto the road in what seems to be targeted harassment.
Police appear to acquiesce, advising the videographer that the group is “a bit sensitive.”
In 2025, several activists were arrested and charged in connection with protests at the same annual event.
If police expect journalists to accommodate those who want to silence them, who is left to hold the powerful and the disruptive to account?

Do the research and ask YOURSELF who actually owns a lot of the critical sectors in Canada 🇨🇦
Well I did some research, didn’t take very long at all, and guess what, not many of these are fully CANADIAN, especially Defence 👀
I think Canadians forget this important piece of the global geopolitical puzzle. Canada is a middle power but much of what we have in Canada is controlled/owned by foreign entities
