Ah, memories. Back when I had time to do silly doodles for no reason.
4 gag cartoons.. 1: “Rainbogey”(person with rainbow arching from nose to a cloud). 2: “Shitwreck”, a cross section of a loo with a sailing ship sinking through the pipes. 3: Two ears sword fighting with cuetips. 4: Sign on sidewalk has “work” pointing one way and “home” in the opposite. A hunched-over worker in suit and tie with briefcase walking in “work” direction gloomily, while his shadow on a wall is in an energised pose excitedly heading “home”.

I thought sunflowers were so named cos they look like cartoon suns. We planted them for the 1st time, and turns out it’s cos they are really bloody high up. That super leggy one is still growing.

When I’m procrastinating, one of the things which gets me inspired is watching illustrators work. It’s pretty rare to have a working relationsip beyond emails with an author. Same even applies for pros like Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler: youtu.be/buH8AesN_M0 via @YouTube

Up until a few years ago I would still read “ai” (rhymes with pie and kai) as meaning “yeah”. As in “wanna chip?”, “ai bro”. Now ai is gonna take my job.

She’s not soft on crime. More police, very good arrest success rates on ram raiders, crime rate down overall, prison numbers reduced saving taxpayers heaps and reducing recidivism rate. Could do better on white collar crime, fraud and scams on the elderly
