A 10-year-old girl. Killing children every day is not normal. The fact that the media barely bats an eye is not normal.

The Mosque is a World Heritage site; hopefully these Zionists won’t destroy it for the senseless sake of a baseless ideology
Tens of thousands of Israeli settlers storm Al-Buraq Wall plaza, west of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, and perform Talmudic rituals.

Amid the rubble of a destroyed building, Anne Radwan stands with her paintbrush, continuing to create expressive murals as she tries to convey messages she may not have been able to put into words. Today, she stands before a mural she painted of American artist Macklemore, a supporter of the Palestinian cause, as a message of gratitude to everyone who sees the horrific crimes committed against a people who have endured the devastation of war. Anne continues to paint murals in an effort to create a new reality, transforming the scenes of destruction scattered everywhere into paintings that carry different messages and remain present in the memory of everyone who sees them.

Will our legacy mainstream media report on Albanese being awarded, or is it too embarrassing?
PM Anthony Albanese has been selected to receive a vanity award by the deep state’s favourite think-tank, the Atlantic Council. Such awards are given to ensure the ongoing loyalty of minor players to the ‘deep state’s project of world-wide domination led by the United States. The honorific Atlantic Council 2026 ‘Global Citizen Award’ is to be presented in New York on 23 September 2026.

The new academic year kicked off today in the Gaza Strip amidst a devastated environment. Schools are makeshift tents, furniture is scarce and nearly nonexistent, infrastructure is dilapidated, and textbooks are absent. The roads leading to educational points are desolate and perilous, and the student dropout rate—driven by children searching for a morsel of bread for their families—is at its highest. Recent reports indicate that children in Gaza are academically and educationally years behind their peers around the world. If this situation continues as it is, they will fall behind by decades, not just years.

Today is day 1,078 of Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians
🚨BREAKING: “The occupation killed my son before my eyes”: Israeli strike kills son of Gaza Health Ministry director in Jabalia Basir Muneer Al-Boursh, the son of Dr. Muneer Al-Boursh, director general of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, was killed in an Israeli strike in Jabalia, northern Gaza. His father said Basir was targeted just meters away from him. Basir’s brother, Mohammed Al-Boursh, a general physician working in Gaza, told Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed Basir had been serving people and helping them fill their water containers. Mohammed was on duty when he received news that his brother had been killed. At Al-Shifa Hospital, Basir’s mother mourned her son: “My darling, my baby. My darling, my life. I hope I did not fall short with him.” His voice breaking as he spoke, Dr. Al-Boursh told Drop Site: “The occupation targeted him in his tent. He was only meters away from me. It killed my son before my eyes. This oppressive occupation tore him in half with modern missiles. This is the occupation.” Yasmin Al-Boursh, Basir’s aunt, said: “Every day, we lose our youth. Every day, we lose our children. Every day, we lose our women.” “Little by little, we will all be gone. There is almost no one left,” she added. “Who is left? Who is left? No one is left.” Basir’s killing comes nearly three years after Dr. Al-Boursh’s 13-year-old daughter, Jinan, was killed in an Israeli strike in December 2023. Dr. Al-Boursh was wounded and suffered fractures in the same attack. 🎥 Mohamed Ahmed

⚡️⭕️Alex Blitsas, CNN national security analyst: I have been informed that Trump's meeting at Camp David was held to review and evaluate options for attacking Yemen. Today, US embassies in Middle Eastern countries that may be targets of retaliatory attacks also issued security warnings. Now, the US president has left for the White House earlier than scheduled.

BREAKING: US Embassies across the entire Middle East, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman have just issued new STEP security alerts, warning Americans of flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions amid a risk of sudden escalation. Furthermore, Italy's embassy in Riyadh has told Italians in Saudi Arabia to exercise "utmost caution" nationwide, and to avoid military and security installations and energy infrastructure, the first such warning since March. Trump said on Thursday he is approaching "a major turning point in the war with Iran" and has "a big decision coming up."

An Illegal War by US/Israel against Iran is a threat to everyone, “an ecological catastrophe” Why’s Australia supporting this war it’s destroying everything from our environment to our economy?
Strait of Hormuz attacks spill oil into Persian Gulf Its an "ecological catastrophe" as oil slicks extend into protected and fragile ecosystems, obliterating sea birds and marine life But all the West and world cares about is the price of oil dw.com/en/iran-war-oil-slick…

Pinglu Canal is now open. China’s first river-to-sea canal—134.2 km, 5,000-tonne vessel capacity—links SW China to the Beibu Gulf facing SE Asia, creating a new gateway for China-ASEAN cooperation and opening-up.

Yup, this is a big deal: the Pinglu Canal is China's first river-to-sea canal since the founding of the People's Republic. It cost US$10.2 billion to build and is designed for 5000-ton ships of 90 meter length. It's part of a bigger master plan that China calls the "New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor" (ILSTC, 西部陆海新通道) to solve a structural geographic problem: the country's vast western interior (places like Chongqing, Sichuan Guangxi, Guizhou, Gansu, Qinghai) has historically been cut off from global shipping lanes, with goods having to travel east - often thousands of kilometers - to reach the coast at ports like Guangzhou or Shanghai before heading out to sea. Which is super inconvenient for, for instance, China's trade with ASEAN - its biggest trading partner today. Up until recently, if you wanted to ship something from, say, Chongqing to Vietnam, you had to go east all the way down to Guangzhou before you could head back south. A massive detour. In effect the entire logic of the plan, including the Pinglu Canal, is to reorient the economic geography of China's less developed western provinces away from dependence on the wealthy eastern seaboard and toward direct engagement with Southeast Asia. It's as much about internal rebalancing - developing the west - as it is about external trade connectivity.
Very cool: The Pinglu Canal in Guangxi is now open, connecting provincial capital Nanning with the Gulf of Tonkin, avoiding 560 km detour through Guangdong. First major Chinese canal since 1949!

AI makes mistakes & Trump’s prone to confusion should Australia have a military relationship with the US?
BREAKING: The US "almost started a war" against China, nearly launching an operation against a Chinese ship in the Middle East this spring, in the midst of the Iran war, after an AI-generated intelligence report falsely identified the vessel as carrying nuclear weapons components, with armed US personnel preparing to board and military aircraft already in the air before officials found the report had been produced with a chatbot, per CNN. A special operations command analyst had used a chatbot to fuse open-source material with classified signals intelligence, then used AI again to package the result into a standard intelligence report and circulated it across the US military.
