A third school found the remains of Native children buried under their school.
Think about that. Hundreds of bodies of children are being found. That’d be massive news if it wasn’t Native kids. Where is the outrage? Where is the support? Why doesn’t anyone care?

It is actually insane to see people who’ve spent the last few years talking about being on the “right” or “wrong” side of history be totally silent right now...your tax dollars go towards the eradication of Palestinians. This isn’t happening outside of you.

We have dismantled systems that were older and more ingrained in society that policing. If we can end things like monarchal rule and the slave trade, we can end policing.

The only nuanced thing about this is the nuanced nature of evil, where a government can murder a child, attempt to cover it up by lying about the facts & then pretend to have empathy for the child’s family.

Big thanks to @radiodrama and @ShoMarq for the lovely conversation. Reads, eats, and the absolute lack of distinction between reality and dystopia. What more could you ask for?
We're back from our interplanetary broadcasted journey with an interview with Morgan Maxwell, where she and @ShoMarq discuss why audio as a medium, afrofuturism, being a critical fan, and what to expect from season 2 of @dispatchfromthe!

Shocked, delighted, and so very honored to have our scrappy little operation be recognized alongside some of our favorite works of audio fiction. Big thanks to the @audioverseawrds team for volunteering their time and energy during a global pandemic to make this happen. 🖤💫

🧵: Community media reporting from outlets serving Asian American communities, in the wake of yesterday's shootings in #Atlanta and the national #AntiAsianRacism crisis.
A good way to listen to & elevate #AsianAmerican voices is to follow community media.

Today's edition of @koreatimes opens with both in-depth reporting & collective grief over the #atlantaspa killings, including 4 victims of Korean descent.
The story centers "members of the community" & observes, "Police do not condemn hate crimes."

THREAD: One of our clients was an 11-year-old Black child taking a shower when DC police burst into her bathroom, pulled back the curtain, and pointed guns at her naked body. Cops said that they found a little marijuana on her dad (who didn't even live there) two weeks before (1)
Hey comrades. We're having some broadcast delays this week. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you're a monthly patreon or ko-fi supporter you should see a refunding pending for your Feb donation. (If it's surplus $ maybe send it to a mutual aid fund instead.) Stay safe.

This is a weird #BlackHistoryMonth so let's do a thread. Black authors, poets, artists, and illustrators, drop a link to a project of yours that our followers can support.
And don't just make it a link. Nobody's going to click that. *Tell us something about it*
