Welcome to Disk Detective v2.0! blog.diskdetective.org/2020/…
We’re in an episode of SciGirls!!science.nasa.gov/science-new…
Come science with us at diskdetective.org! We uploaded new images of 1100 stars that may have disks for you to discover.
This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for our volunteers!! Here are two papers published this year that your work made possible: arxiv.org/abs/2205.09133 arxiv.org/abs/2207.07140
Disk Detective 2.1 is live! Come discover planet-forming disks at 12 microns: "the richest set of data we've posted so far"!! Lots of new discoveries for you to make!! science.nasa.gov/science-new…
Our latest paper was just accepted for publication in the Astrophysical Journal! "Chandra Observations of Six Peter Pan Disks: Diversity of X-ray-driven Internal Photoevaporation Rates Doesn't Explain Their Rare Longevity" by Stefan Laos et al.
Way to go, @space_r2 @dancaselden and Melina! We applied for JWST time too for disks discovered by citizen scientists...maybe we'll get some in Cycle 2.
Congrats to citizen scientists @space_r2 @dancaselden and Melina Thevenot! Their brown dwarf discoveries will be observed by the James Webb Space Telescope. @NASAWebb @DoNASAScience

NASA Disk Detective #CitizenScientists have turned to #VirtualReality to explore the galaxy in a brand new way. Today, they presented their first VR-enabled discoveries, including the ages of 10 stars with disks, at the #AAS240 Summer Conference. Read on: go.nasa.gov/3zExM6q
We're doing a press conference on our latest paper! To watch the conference on Tuesday at 10:15am Pacific time, tune in here: youtube.com/c/AASPressOffice
And we thank you, Sumit, for helping advance science!
Today we celebrate National Science day in India and I have decided to thank @diskdetective @LJMU @TheNISTian for helping me advance my scientific career
