Somalian Mohamed Abdukardir Ali is now a sitting member of the Swedish parliament after being elected amid allegations of election fraud (now under police investigation).
However, weeks into his term, he has not even set foot in parliament, and he still receives his full salary.
Now, it's been revealed that for the past 10 years, he has made a system out of using services and consuming goods without paying for them. When they try to collect these debts, they end up writing them off because he has no assets to seize and makes himself unreachable.
He took a driving test and rented a car for it but never paid for either. He failed to pay child support, took out loans he never repaid, and accumulated unpaid speeding tickets, parking fines, student loans, and fines for travelling on public transport without a ticket.
He has also allegedly falsely claimed to be the CEO of a Somali company that does not exist in order to obtain Swedish citizenship.
He lived with a gang criminal.
And the worst part is that it seems like he will get away with all of this and remain a Swedish MP, even if the police investigation establishes that election fraud occurred. He would also remain a Swedish citizen.

‼️The ultimate humiliation for Doug Ford
Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) has just signed a six-month contract with U.S.-based Alpha Generation for 600 megawatts of power from New York state, starting November 1, 2026
Ontario needs this power over winter, while it refurbishes the Pickering nuclear plant
..... this comes months after Premier Doug Ford repeatedly threatened to cut or restrict Ontario’s electricity exports to the U.S. (to Michigan, New York, and Minnesota)

I am in QP.
We, Conservatives, just asked the government why they gave a $12,000,000 contract to an American company rather than the Canadian Commissionaires who had a similar bid.
Minister Wayne Long just said, “we stand by this decision”.
Unreal.
Hire Canadians. Period.

Muslims have just taken over this public street and completely blocked it. No appreciation or respect for anyone else. It’s a public street.
You can guarantee if this was Christians doing the same thing the police would already be there arresting them and taking them off.
But because it’s Muslims, nothing gets done. It’s fine apparently.

CBC’s Alberta referendum question coverage was one-sided — and appears to violate its own Journalistic Standards and Practices (JSP)
On the segment with Marianne Demain and David Common, it stressed that temporary residents "pay taxes" (~$150M) and feel blamed, while largely ignoring the government’s case for the questions
Missing:
* The claim that temporary residents cost Alberta >$1B/year in health care, education, and social services versus $150M in provincial taxes.
* Why early “yes” votes were leading (~57–58%): service strain, classroom sizes, healthcare capacity, and prioritizing citizens/permanent residents.
* That Q3 covers only certain social supports (not core health/education), and Q2 creates an “Alberta-approved” category.
* That other provinces already restrict temporary-resident access, and the Canada Health Act does not require equal coverage.
CBC’s JSP requires fair presentation of all relevant perspectives and avoidance of advocacy framing. This segment treated “they pay taxes” as decisive and framed the questions as blame and division, without presenting the cost, capacity, or sustainability arguments that drove them. That is selective framing, not balanced reporting. Feelz over facts @CBCOmbud @brodiefenlon @ABDanielleSmith

If this isn’t a good example of why we need to have some sort of basic intelligence test before letting people vote, I don’t know what is.
The current contract between the feds & Starlink is small & primarily used for 2 things, one CDN special forces needs when deployed abroad & mobile communications for emergency response services in remote areas. Several provincial gov’s have similar contracts for use in remote areas..
Telesat remains a fantasy system that is based on having limited CDN coverage & bandwidth by 2028 (by using SpaceX to get their small number of LEO satellites into with orbit) & full coverage over Canada by 2038. That won’t help the CAF with their needs & the military contract recently awarded is for GEO satellites & even further down the road.
Telesat are solely reliant on SpaceX for launching their satellites & the GoC for funding (both contracts & loan guarantees & grants) & have never once met a timeline they set but hey fuck @elonmusk ‘s Starlink just not his SpaceX rockets, right? 😎
Canada is officially cutting ties with Elon Musk's Starlink.
Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed Canada is moving away from Starlink, heavily backing a $2.3B contract for homegrown rival Telesat Lightspeed instead.
We have the best PM hands down! 🇨🇦👏

CBC let Trudeau-appointed Senator Paula Simons lecture Albertans without once noting how she got the job
Trudeau picked her in 2018, bypassing Alberta’s Senate nominee elections. In the October 20 interview she celebrated the separation “no” while slamming the other questions as “very divisive, some of them racist.”
On immigration she said: “If we were smart, we’d use it to increase immigration levels… the idea of shooing immigrants away is so counterproductive.”
On the 53% vote to pursue Senate abolition she dismissed it: “Most Canadians don’t understand the Senate… this doesn’t give me too much worry.”
No pushback. No mention of the ignored Alberta elections. No challenge to her framing of popular views as ignorance or prejudice. Just a typical soft CBC platform for a progressive appointee to defend the unelected chamber and scold the province that never chose her

Mark Carney said one thing to Ryan Jespersen and another when pressed by the parliamentary press gallery today on constitutional reform
To Ryan Jespersen (Real Talk podcast, ~Oct 16): “Am I open to constitutional reform? Yes, I’m open to it… but I’m open to it with laying the groundwork for consensus. And part of the way you… lay groundwork for that is you build trust, you build on success, you move forward.”
He also stated: “The constitution is not unamendable, to be clear.”
The Toronto Star turned these remarks into the “Carney opens door to constitutional change” story ahead of the Alberta referendum
To the parliamentary press gallery today: When a reporter followed up on the implication that he was open to constitutional change: “I’m sorry, you have no interest in having constitutional change? No, don’t. I didn’t say. That’s not what I said at all.”
He then stressed that he favors “working now pragmatically to common solutions,” noted that constitutional change is difficult and long, and argued issues such as immigration should be handled through federal-provincial cooperation without opening the Constitution. He framed constitutional reform as something “we don’t start there” and that is “not necessary.”
The flipPodcast (Alberta-focused audience): “Yes, I’m open to it.”
Press gallery when directly asked what that means: “That’s not what I said at all,” followed by a clear preference for non-constitutional routes.
Same Prime Minister, different rooms, different messages yet AGAIN!
The “open to constitutional change” line that generated headlines gets walked back the moment the gallery presses him on it... then he rushes away @MarkJCarney
