How does a humanoid know it's done?
A robot can see a screw being turned, but that doesn’t tell it whether the threads have caught...a click can tell it a latch has locked. Force feedback can reveal what a camera misses.
Germany’s NEURA Robotics has introduced Neuron AI-- a Perception-Language-Action (PLA) model combining 3D vision, touch, force feedback, audio, robot state, and language, with memory to track objects and task progress.
Together, these capabilities form the basis of a general-purpose Physical AI brain built around multimodal perception + memory + deployable skills, helping robots sense, adapt, and work through tasks more like humans do.
NEURA says the model will work across five of its robot platforms. Customers can fine-tune skills through Neuraverse and deploy them across a fleet. The company calls its learning-speed metric Time-to-Skill.
At NVIDIA GTC Berlin (Oct 20–22), NEURA plans to demo its 4NE1 humanoid autonomously completing an 11-minute laundry task, from sorting clothes to loading and unloading the washing machine and moving the laundry.
Looking forward to it...

Tesla VP of Hardware Engineering Lars Moravy explains to Hagerty how the Roadster borrows SpaceX cold gas thrusters to make 0 to 60 possible in 0.55 seconds.
Truly insane:
▫️ 200L carbon-over wrapped pressure vessel
behind seat holds nitrogen at 10,000 PSI
▫️cold gas thrusters push out 80 kN of thrust (equivalent to a single fighter jet engine)
▫️Tesla went with nitrogen because “it just seemed wrong to put fuel into a car” (air is ~80% nitrogen, fair enough)
▫️thrusters same system satellites use to move in space (eg. the “psh psh psh" from Apollo 13 film)
▫️currently takes 6 to 7 hours to refill all nitrogen but Tesla working for it to be 30 minutes
▫️uses leg actuators from Optimus robot to manage downforce on wing

When I look at Elon Musk, I see almost 100% signal and no noise. He spends his waking hours focused on what matters, and the results speak for themselves. That kind of intensity can come with social tradeoffs, but history’s great achievers share a remarkable ability to stay focused on their mission.

Coca Cola scaling Spot after the Barcelona deployment is a great sign for industrial robotics. Real customers expanding real deployments is the proof point that matters.

When you read biographies of people who've done great work, it's remarkable how much luck is involved.
They discover what to work on as a result of a chance meeting, or by reading a book they happen to pick up.
You need to make yourself a big target for luck, and the way to do that is to be curious.
Try lots of things, meet lots of people, read lots of books, and ask lots of questions.

I've spent months figuring out which jobs are worth giving AI agents.
One question helps me decide.
Does the job need memory, tools, or a schedule?
If it doesn't need any of those, a regular chat might be enough.
I made the @bot handoff worksheet after testing Grok Bots on real marketing work. It's helped me get much more specific about what I'd actually delegate.
Tomorrow at 10 AM PT, I'm sharing the jobs I'd trust agents to handle now and what I'd recommend trying yourself. Free 30-minute live session.
