With support from the UK through the #Sinaan program, local & national authorities adopted solid waste management laws that will transform waste management across municipalities.

Great for @CharlesKingFCDO and I to catch up with Chevening Alumni in #Somaliland. Encouraging to see how many have gone on to serve in the public sector, applying the knowledge, skills, and experience gained through their UK education to help drive positive change.
Families across #Somaliland are facing challenges due to climate shocks, strained basic services and economic hardship. Thank you to the city of #Hargeisa for bringing families in the Digaale community local empowerment, opportunity and stability.
Displacement canโt be a permanent reality for families. @CharlesKingFCDO met Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, the Mayor of Hargeisa and Alight whoโre supporting durable solutions for displaced communities. Encouraging efforts to help people move from dependency to opportunity.
