This guy utterly dismantles the populist politics of Reform and Restore in 90 seconds. It’s actually quite beautiful.
Take decades of deep-rooted problems in Britain and convince people that a relatively tiny proportion of the population is responsible for all of them. Housing, the NHS, crime. Blame illegal migrants for everything.
Suddenly, you don’t need credible solutions to the housing crisis, NHS waiting lists or crime. You just need increasingly extreme policies on immigration.
And by the time people realise you never had meaningful answers to the vast majority of Britain’s problems, you’re already in power, handing out tax cuts to your donors.

Today marks 31 years since Bet and Rita’s iconic PALS? PALS? showdown. Two absolute powerhouses, Julie Goodyear and Barbara Knox were superb. Two decades worth of friendship gone in two minutes. Incredible scene! One for the ages. #corrie

It's a fucking zoo in Yorkshire not Jurassic Park. What did you expect someone on a watch tower with a high powered rifle just waiting for this very situation? 😂😂

“Fade to Grey” is Visage's breakthrough single, released in 1980. Written by Billy Currie, Chris Payne, and Midge Ure, with English lyrics by Steve Strange, the synth-pop classic became one of the defining songs of the New Romantic movement. It reached #8 on the UK Singles Chart, #1 in Germany and Switzerland, #2 in Belgium and the Top 10 across much of Europe.
The song's distinctive bilingual vocals (English by Steve Strange and French by Brigitte Arens) helped give it its mysterious, cosmopolitan atmosphere. Although it was Visage's only major international hit, "Fade to Grey" became hugely influential on synth-pop and electronic music, inspiring countless artists and remaining one of the most iconic tracks of the early 1980s.
I think that is what is known as premature wharfie time

"So tell me Mr Farage, what was it about a system favoured by money launderers that allows donations to be totally untraceable that first attracted you to crypto?"

Don’t forget the real stories:
Nigel Farage broke parliamentary standards failing to declare a £5 mil bribe.
Then he got caught on camera plotting to break electoral law.
He lied about his Clacton house and its stamp duty,
He got caught with an offshore bank account and has a special company to avoid tax.
He failed to declare 17 streams of income breaking parliamentary code.
He has about 14 jobs and never turns up to Parliament.
Don’t get distracted. If he gets away with it, democracy is dead.

Permanently shortening quarters in the AFL would be nothing less than vandalism of the game of Australian rules football. No fan wants this, and surely the broadcasters don’t, either. Bin the idea and start again
