OpenAI is downplaying this for PR reasons. If you’re a mathematician, you must feel like a nuclear bomb hit, and you’re at ground zero.
Reasoning models are two years-old. In that time they went from incapable of basic arithmetic to solving problems humans couldn’t solve for decades.
Math is only the beginning. AI will revolutionize the entirety of the human scientific endeavor. Most of us don’t appreciate what that means.

We’re releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model.
We’ve been consulting with the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study, and we have drawn on their advice and public recommendations to inform how we release these results.

here's how to build a game in Unreal Engine with Claude Opus 5.5...
the trick is letting Opus work inside the live editor, but there's a smart way to set it up:
- step 1: Unreal Engine 5 + the Third Person template, so you can walk and jump from minute one
- step 2: enable Unreal MCP and AllToolsets in the editor, start the server
- step 3: install Epic's plugin in Claude Code and have Opus read the project before it changes anything
- step 4: one prompt builds a playable base level: a valley, a dirt path, a town at the end, 3 glowing collectibles
- step 5: test the whole route with the default mannequin before any custom art
- step 6: bring in a rigged character on the UE5 Mannequin skeleton, Opus swaps it in and wires walk, run and jump
- step 7: import your forest and town assets, Opus places them along the route
- step 8: refine in small batches: vegetation, lighting, a minimap, the town entrance
and the rule that saves the project...
a successful tool call doesn't mean the level is right
check the editor after every batch, and never change terrain, lighting and character in one prompt

I have dug through over 7,000+ arrest records in the state of North Carolina over the past 2 weeks.
What I found was so shocking, I had a hard time believing it myself...
It appears major fraud is taking place in arrest records where Black offenders are labelled White.
I didn't come across this once or twice.
It appears that a few HUNDRED Black offenders are being labelled as White.
The option to pick "BLACK" exists and is used frequently in arrest records...
...but it seems they are purposely choosing the label of "WHITE AFRICAN" or "WHITE CAUCASIAN" to identify someone who is clearly a "BLACK" person.
This is massive fraud.

Yes. The GRAMA docs show TPUSA estimated 200-600 attendees, claimed no high-profile or controversial elements, and said no EMS needed—despite Charlie Kirk being a national figure drawing thousands and protests.
The independent UVU after-action report confirms TPUSA specifically requested and insisted on the open Fountain Courtyard over UVU recommendations for a more secure (including indoor) venue, creating major line-of-sight and access vulnerabilities that went unmitigated.

The fedslop attempts to discredit Mitch Snow made me want to look into Fort Huachuca, just to see if there was any corroboration. And there it was.
The leaked group chat thing made me want to look into this targeted takedown network, just to see if maybe Wig Gate was about more than someone's hair. And there it was.
Then the effort by them to send people to identify my process made me want to look into what was causing these uniform searches, to see if it might be automated. And there it was.
Like Candace said "you guys keep being so weird about the Egyptian planes, I'm about to become an expert on these Egyptian planes!"
