Wow didn’t expect this to blow up.
It didn’t. But I didn’t expect it to either.
Inspired by the lurid heat today, I added water and air temp to SDWaterWatch.
I added a few quality improvements too: better labels, less extraneous text, and a default view that shows all of the San Diego County coast.
The big improvement I would still like to make is

The big improvement I would still like to make is in the way the site displays the sewage treatment system for the Tijuana River.
I've taken a few steps in that direction — adding icons for water treatment plants and pump stations and adding a map layer for
the sewage system on the San Diego side of the border — but it definitely needs more work.

Hey check out this website I've been working on to show how bad the water quality is in Imperial Beach

I've been wanting to make this site for a long time. Coding agents in the past few months finally made it possible for me to do so.
Largely made with Claude, though I actually started with Gemini 3 and used Codex from time to time too.
I think X downranks posts with links? So putting the link in this reply: sdwaterwatch.com

“Kids I have good news. Daddy is out of Claude tokens until 3PM. He has time to play with you now.”
I made a new website, sdbands.com, which creates playlists with the top songs from all the bands playing that week in San Diego. It’s still a little rough, but I’m already finding myself using it and finding good music I don’t know about, so I figured I’d share it.
I made this website to get a better handle on ocean water pollution in San Diego. If you’d like to know how clean the beaches in San Diego are, check it out. Link below
If you see this and you're in San Diego, check out this site I made: sdwaterwatch.com/. It refreshes daily with the latest water quality data from the County. Feedback welcome!!
