Azure seems to be having serious issues serving GPT 6 Luna. Sometimes it responds as expected and then it'll take 200 seconds for a rather small prompt (1000in/70out). Back to 5.6 for now but we might just go straight to OpenAI for this, free credits or not.
You go onto woodworking Youtube and there are a lot of useful videos but also they're like "how I set up my SMALL shop" and small is an entire 2-car garage.
I had Claude make a set of minigames that use the camera to do pose detection and then the players interact with the game itself. Cranked away for 90 minutes and it needs a bit of tweaking but it works surprisingly well. My kids will love this tomorrow.
I'm not sure if this is the worst CAPTCHA ever or if something more is going on. (Yes, it's literally just a checkbox.) Seeing this a few times a day now on Amazon...
These printable circular saw blade trays are pretty nice makerworld.com/en/models/267…
My Amazon personalization data was pretty boring… it has 2 entries about me having cats, and I have no pets at all. But everything else made sense so no fun jokes this time
Home ERP software came together nicely. The UI is still janky but its great to import my orders, have everything tracked, see my parts catalog and what I still need to buy, etc.
It's funny buying aluminum stock on Amazon because the parts are all actually metric (300mm) but listed as the closest inches (12"). And so I need to translate my metric requirements into inches and then back again when I actually import it into my ERP.
And yes, I know it's a little weird to buy aluminum stock off Amazon, but where I live, that and AliExpress are the only real options because of the shipping, and Amazon is actually surprisingly cheaper a lot of the time.
I updated the svelte-maplibre site with some actual documentation, not just examples. It was all Claude-generated since I wouldn't have gotten it done otherwise, but hopefully it'll help some people get started with mapping.

the main thing i dont get about Aliexpress is who ever thought this was an acceptable way to choose products. Click on 12 tiny nearly identical images so you can see the text labels and find the variant you actually want.
Spent the weekend building my own ERP software, ordering a CNC machine and planning an enclosure build, and building 3d dinosaur battle games with my kids. Before AI I would have had enough time to do none of these things.
Funny the hardest part of getting started with CAD now is just figuring out which viewer to use and getting it set up. nurb is nice but for more complex projects I ended up with build123d Studio and having the agent generate a `view.py` script for it to run.
I also made a skill for agents, with various gotchas encountered in the past such as "hole is the right size for the screw but there's no clearance to actually install it"
I'm not an ME so I'm sure I've missed things here; will update as I learn more.

Toddler is tall enough to reach the light switches now and LOVES to turn of the kitchen lights lol. Time to fire up Nurb and print something.
I feel like I really need to look into FreeCAD, OpenCAD, OpenSCAD, and similar as well especially as I get into more complex CAD work.
So if GPT 6 Luna feels extra dumb to you, it might be because Codex's system prompt tells it to not run tests unless explicitly requested.
@thsottiaux @OpenAIDevs please fix this. Sometimes it even commits code that doesn't parse properly because it's just not checking its work at all unless you tell it to.
