Bringing a green range to Maldegem, Belgium. 🌿
Final wall and the full story coming soon.
Keep coloring the world.
I first used the name DOES when I started doing graffiti in 1997. I remember I was playing a game against Feyenoord. My direct opponent on the midfield was called 'Does'; during this specific game he scored 2 goals, he had a strong physique and was really fast. When I arrived back home after the match I directly started playing with these letters. Later I realized that Does is the third person singular of the verb "to do" which suits my personality very well.
Flashback Friday
Melbourne, Australia 2011 🇦🇺
I lived in Australia for a year during this period of my life. Looking back, it was a year of complete freedom. Traveling, figuring things out and slowly building a new life after being forced to walk away from my professional football career.
Painted in Sirmione, Italy 🇮🇹
During my summer break with my family, I stopped in Sirmione after being invited by Italian artist Kende to paint at his home overlooking Lake Garda.
For this piece, I chose natural tones to blend with the surrounding landscape and the atmosphere of the lake. A special place, a beautiful setting, and a great experience creating together.
Thanks Kende for taking care of me and my family and for making us feel so welcome.

Originally painted on a cement-covered brick wall at STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam, this piece has taken a while to find its way into print.
I spent a long time looking for a technique that could carry something of the original wall into this release. With ArtRelief™, multiple layers of UV ink create raised texture and depth you can actually feel.
Now, ‘Straat’ is finally here.
The Deluxe Edition is limited to 15 pieces, printed on Dibond using ArtRelief™ and accompanied by a handcrafted display stand.
A Collector Edition is also available. Both editions are signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity.

From a wall at STRAAT to your own space. Thank you for being part of the journey.
Another one in this series. In 2017, I painted this piece in Phuket, Thailand 🇹🇭
I recently received the bottom photo, with overgrown greeneries.
Layers change, surfaces get covered, the surroundings shift. That constant transformation is part of the essence of graffiti. It lives in real spaces, exposed to time, weather, and the city itself.
And somehow, it keeps going.
Please feel free to share older DOES pieces from around the world 🌎

Travel is an important part of my inspiration.
Every place has its own colors, shapes, rhythm, architecture, people and energy. Traveling takes me out of my familiar surroundings and makes me look at things differently.
Sometimes it’s a wall, a building or a landscape. Sometimes it’s a color combination, a small detail on the street or simply meeting people and experiencing a different culture.
I take all these impressions with me. Some stay in my memory for years, others find their way directly into my sketches, color studies or paintings.
For me, traveling is not just about seeing new places. It’s about opening your eyes, collecting experiences and bringing new energy back into your work.
Keep looking. Keep exploring. Keep creating.
