Looking forward to presenting my research on phone farming, informal automation, and AI adoption across the Asia-Pacific to the UC Berkeley AI Leadership Accelerator cohort tomorrow.
Drawing on my fieldwork in Southeast Asia, I'll explore how different forms of expertise shape the ways technological systems are adopted, adapted, and put to work—and why implementing AI requires us to think beyond technology procurement to the organisation of work itself.
Many thanks to the Berkeley Professional Education team for the invitation.
