#UKEdChat A7 - This is an interesting question. With EdTech and digital technologies so prevalent, there are many ways to articulate emotional literacy. Serious care needs to be taken when exploring this route, but it is a route for young people particularly.

#UKEdChat A8b - I suppose finding a small circle of trusted colleagues is essential and be prepared for it to be a 2-way process.

#UKEdChat A8 - You can have a decent level of emotional literacy, but it’s what you do with it that matters. Some people fear any show of emotion is a sign of weakness - people may seize on that.

#UKEdChat A6 - I think it’s important that school leaders acknowledge the importance of emotional literacy, for EVERYONE within the school community (staff & pupils). Building a community of trust, listening and support is crucial for everyone. Sometimes school is an escape.

#UKEdChat A5 - A case of having resources available, and adults using language to scaffold how to articulate feelings and expressing themselves.
