If alternate years stem from the fact that year names can be ambiguous, shouldn't the alternative years be linked to year names instead of artifacts? How do you model the fact that a month name can bear a specific month number based on place, ruler, and year of rulership?

New stats for cuneiform texts of the Ur III period: Unique but not lemmatized word tokens: 78 182 (Yay affixing languages!), All word tokens: 3 241 013 (ouch!); Unique (not curated) sign readings: 3189 🤓
