Met a senior consultant (read top 3) on my walk today. He said the industry is lost as to what may happen in a few years. Few things he said are happening 1. Million dollar contract clients are now questioning the contract fees suggesting that a job that was being done in a month earlier is now worth a few days only 2. Many are suggesting projects moving from billable hours to a small fixed fee plus a variable success fee ( basis the consultation) be acceptable 3. Some smaller clients are training inhouse teams on AI etc to do it themselves. He mentioned that erstwhile consultancy lived on information arbitrage where customers had no access to knowledge bases etc.... but now that is gone.

It’s been a couple of days since I watched #Ranabaali, and I keep thinking about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika’s portrayal of Ranabaali and Jayamma. ❤️ @iamRashmika , for me, has firmly established herself as one of the best actresses working in Indian cinema today. There’s such an ease and honesty to her performances, and Jayamma is another reminder of how good she is. And @TheDeverakonda has delivered one of his most committed performances. You can see how much he has invested himself in playing Ranabaali. I have so much admiration for what these two brought to their characters. ❤️
