Er sagte, wir müssten eine sofortige Waffenruhe erreichen und den Konflikt diplomatisch lösen. Und ich sagte: Nein, Emmanuel. Das lässt sich nicht durch Diplomatie lösen. Das sind Monster. Das sind Neonazis. Ein Problem wie die SS löst man nicht durch Diplomatie. Man vernichtet sie.“ Drei Jahre später instrumentalisiert Netanjahu nun die Jugendproteste in Frankreich, um seine damalige Kriegsstrategie zu rechtfertigen. Er konstruiert eine Verbindung zwischen den Unruhen in Paris und der Hamas, ohne dafür Belege vorzulegen. Aus gesellschaftlicher Wut wird eine angebliche Terrorbedrohung. Aus der Ablehnung von Diplomatie wird nachträglich eine Heldengeschichte. Das ist eine erschreckende Form der Kriegspropaganda. Und dass ein Regierungschef das derart offen vor laufender Kamera erzählt, sollte international für einen Aufschrei sorgen.

Ernsthaft? Jahrzehnte kaputtgesparte Schulen, Lehrermangel, unbezahlbare Mieten, explodierende Lebenshaltungskosten, prekäre Jobs, BAföG-Misere, fehlende Jugendclubs und eine Klimakrise, deren Folgen vor allem die Jüngeren tragen müssen. Eine Generation soll immer mehr leisten, immer länger arbeiten, kann sich immer weniger leisten und darf gleichzeitig die Krisen eines Systems ausbaden, von dem vor allem andere profitieren. Die eigentliche Frage ist nicht, woher die Wut kommt. Sondern wie weit sich der Journalismus von der Lebensrealität junger Menschen entfernt haben muss, um sich darüber noch zu wundern.

The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed an urgent request with the US Department of Justice demanding the immediate arrest and criminal prosecution of an Israeli military officer currently traveling freely in the United States, according to a public filing by the organization.
The petition targets Sean Glass, a former company commander in the Israeli army whose occupation unit is directly implicated in the cold-blooded killing of six-year-old Hind Rajab, her family members, and the first responders dispatched to save her in Gaza City.
Extensive investigative findings place Glass and his "Vampire Empire" company—operating under the 52nd Armored Battalion—in the immediate vicinity of the family's vehicle during the massacre, which saw Israeli occupation forces shell and riddle the civilian car with hundreds of bullets.
The legal advocacy group warned that allowing an officer accused of egregious war crimes and acts of genocide to walk unbothered on US soil represents an intolerable collapse of international law and universal jurisdiction.
