gpsify is a small open source tool of mine where AI suggests where a photo was taken, and I approve or reject every single suggestion. There is no confidence threshold that writes anything automatically, that was on purpose. Why do you need something like this? I don't own a mobile phone, so I never connect GPS data to my images I take on my cameras. It's pretty cheap. 100 photos are around $0,18 with Gemini 2.5 Flash and $0,60-1,50 with Grok 4.6. Only a 1280 px preview gets sent, never the original. It works for a lot of pictures. I usually take landscapes, but also for cities. Of course, it is not perfect, but better than nothing Repo is public, link in the reply.

I thought on X everything auto translates? Isn't this the case anymore?

One big drawback if you work full agentic on domains you are not familiar with. You don't get to know the domain as detailed as you would have been when not using agents. At least, this is my experience after one year of working this way.

Grok @bot at least allows me to transfer cover song videos into tabs without being concerned about copyright. Love it.

Always thought that Rust is the only disk space hungry thing on my machine. Turns out that uv is the same, cleaned up 280 GB of uv cache

Figma MCP only works with clients Figma has pre-approved. If your coding agent isn't in the catalog, OAuth fails before the browser even opens - no dynamic client registration, no token option on the remote server. An 'open protocol' with a guest list. @figma Would be great if you could add Muse Code to your exclusive list.

It doesn't matter whatever SpaceX is releasing, they always suck at account subscriptions. Always!
We've unified plans across Grok, Cursor, and X Premium. Introducing The X Subscription.

After 5 months of working on a project, we have now 3.875 backend tests. Before AI this would land around 300-400 tests. So I wonder after reading xitter.cf/kunchenguid/status/210… if it might be worth to just strip them down.
ok it's official... AI-written unit tests and integration tests are empirically proven to be unhelpful. you should tell your agents to stop writing tests by themselves on the deepswe eval set, banning sonnet 5.5 high from writing any tests actually resulted in slightly higher success rate (non stat-sig), with less time and token spent (stat-sig). this is pretty hard empirical evidence across the tests that were written by the "tests allowed" baseline arm, 65% of them were unit tests, 35% were integration tests, neither bucket resulted in any improvement compared to not writing any tests at all i also picked a random sample of 44 tasks subset where i completely disabled executing even existing tests - it also did not affect success rate at all i spot checked many tests written in the baseline arm, and my intuition is that most tests are simply a repetition of the implementation agent-written tests do not add any value because both the implementation and the tests were simply the agent's interpretation of our intent. the tests aren't any more accurate than the implementation itself i suspect we can still extract some value from unit tests and integration tests if we describe them ourselves when we believe we can articulate our intent better through test cases than through requirements. but i have not proven this yet also worth noting, during deepswe eval the agent wrote almost no e2e tests (only 17, compared to 3000+ unit/integration tests written). so this analysis does not prove nor disprove the value of e2e tests - i will do another eval specifically for that

Just realised that there is a Grok Bot marketplace. I wonder why I can't find "Firstmate" there. @kunchenguid

As you see, I don't really used codex in the last couple of weeks A marketplace to resell resets would be a great thing to have.

This is indeed insane. It is worth $2.500 in credits. Just checked it.
62,500 credits were just given to every legacy $200 Codex Pro account, and apparently that can translate into more than 81,000 local messages at the absolute maximum, That is actually insaneeee with GPT 6.1 Sol, the plan genuinely feels unlimited at this point. I am starting to worry that I will not even be able to burn through all these credits and my banked resets in time This is exactly why I love OpenAI so much, They are always transparent about what they are doing and they actually seem to care about their users!

I think the bound of pressure to regulate the market in the EU is insane. eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-cont…

This is a weak argument in my opinion "But simply because Rust is still a moving target. The language is not yet “complete”… and neither is the compiler." It doesn't matter as long as the Rust compiler works like it does today. Give you a report of all errors and hints. This is the reason why Rust works so great for Agents. A more valid concern is the build output and caches Rust uses. You can easily have a week of heavy work to create hundreds of gb hard disk consumption.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Rust is a *really* bad idea for any software you need to have working a few years from now (AI generated or not), or want to continue developing into the future. Not because Rust is ugly (which… it is). And not because Rust is, overwhelmingly, a cult (again… it is). But simply because Rust is still a moving target. The language is not yet “complete”… and neither is the compiler. Changes occur often enough (and in significant enough ways) to throw serious monkey wrenches into any sizable project. Once Rust stabilizes (which could happen quickly if the Cult of Rust actually wanted it to), this problem will quickly go away. Until then I will be sticking with C. Or C++. Or, heck, any language that is more stable than Rust.

It would be great if Open AI and Anthropic would respect the fact that I don't use Chrome as my default browser. It is really annoying.

This is really a creative rework of a personal website. felixrieseberg.com I wonder how expensive it would be in API costs? Great work @felixrieseberg

I would have never expected to see this repo here mentioned on X. It is pretty outdated and not actively maintained.
