Working in concert with other climate measures in the reconciliation bill, a #PriceOnCarbon will get us to our 2030 goal for emissions reductions, as a study from @rff shows.

The irony of life. I taught my students today about crimes committed by the government/police, such as breach of civil liberties. Meanwhile, back in Nigeria, innocent youth are being killed by armed enforcement officers for peacefully protesting to end police brutality.
Indeed a slap to democracy. I remember a conversation I had with a student who asked if studying criminal justice is worth it because of police brutality and its unchecked practices?
This is a call of accountability to the Nigerian government, @mbuhari. Stop breaking the hearts of the future generation and students who believe in fairness and equality. #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality.
Best way to spend the weekend volunteering at the Angel Tree Party. Thanks to @lakewoodchurch for this wonderful event. I am so honored to be a part of such great community of helpers. #holidayseason #Holidayparty #incarceration #community
Angel Tree is a program for kids of incarcerated parents. Through this program, the incarcerated parent can sign up for their child to receive a gift on behalf of the parent. #holidayspirit

It was a pleasure to be invited with @AnaAndino to speak at the 2019 Minority Serving Institution (MSI) Convening to the MSI Student Fellows about college readiness. #2019MSIConvening @TxSouthern_AJ @TxSouthern_AJ
This year, I also remember sitting in a room as an ACJS Doctoral Fellow and learning so much about the industry route from experts who have received their PhDs and pursuing industry track opportunities. It feels really fulfilling to be able to pour back to the 2019 MSI Fellows.
