He leaned in again, closing the distance to kiss her, deeper this time. The kind that betrayed every ounce of restraint he was losing.
“Shh,” he whispered between breaths, his mouth hovering near her ear. “Don’t be too loud. Wouldn’t want security showing up, would we?”

He led her into one of the dim corners of the venue, shadows wrapping around them, and before she could form a word, Kai pressed her gently against the wall and captured her lips in a kiss that spoke of restrained want.
