The goal in Atlanta is always to win a World Series. Considering all the injuries this pitching staff dealt with, though, this was a good run. They entered the playoffs with only two legitimate starters, and what Ray Kerr gave them in two incredible outings was impressive. But ultimately, that’s not enough to make a deep run in October or beat the back-to-back World Series champs. Going forward, the focus has to be on getting these young arms ready to compete and give this team quality innings at the big-league level. A lot to build on and be excited about heading into next season. #LetItFly
