If you have to ask why politics belongs in music, you’ve spent your whole life hearing songs without ever fucking listening to what they were saying.
Why can't we just go to a concert and enjoy the songs without it being spoiled by ignorant political posturing?

Britain is one of the most influential countries on the planet for popular music. It doesn't matter that we don't take Eurovision seriously. It's simply not relevant to Britain's standing in the pop world or the impact of British artists on music sales. – at Bulgaria

Israel cannot undo what it has done in Gaza, it will be remembered and learned for centuries by students and people all over the world. It will be studied in psychology and sociology classes at universities. How did it happen, how could it happen, by these specific people, who themselves have suffered such trauma.
So yes, for Israel, it must have massive internal changes, in government, in its education system, in how it functions in regards to religion, and it must fully integrate Palestinians into full equality and rights.
So there is a path for Israel to regain itself, but it will never be a path that accepts mistreatment of Palestinians, nor their second class status ever again.
I am not sure Israel is up to the task of being able to rehabilitate its society, but it must.

This is a betrayal of your oath. You were elected to represent a district in California, NOT Israel. You are the exact problem with American politics. Instead of managing another country's PR, worry about your own constituents. Shame on you and every sold-out politician. 🇺🇸

Every AIPAC puppet in the House and Senate should watch it, too. Americans are sick of their government being hijacked by Israel. Schumer and Jeffries are fanatical Zionists. Both of them have to be removed from leadership.
And the sooner it happens, the better.

The anti-Israel sentiment found in much of the world and many parts of the American political system may be unjustified. I hear from Israelis that their actions are justified, and since they’re in the right, they have no problem. That shows an ignorance of Jewish history.
Settler violence will continue until the relevant ministries are held by people who are really opposed to settler violence. The polling numbers that CNN reports will just get worse as long as settler violence continues. (3/3)

Every Israeli official and voter should watch this clip, and it needs to be translated into Hebrew. Yesterday, I spoke with the Israeli Ambassador. I don’t think he or the majority of Israelis realize what is at stake. (1/3)

Israel live-streamed the killing of 20,000+ children for 2yrs with 80%+ support within Israel and we’re still doing the “Israel needs better PR” “it’s the settlers/far right” routine. Begging people to engage with the actual polls and the inherent dynamics of settler colonies.

A US rape and misogyny network is targeting women through coordinated intimidation, doxxing, and distribution of intimate images and rape media. At least 10 victims of the network’s attacks have been identified, including one whose rape video was made viral. #OpDeathEaters

The UK arrested about 11,000 people for speech offences in the last 12 months, including 3,000 charged as terrorists for placards or T shirts.
Russia - a country actually at war - arrested about 800 people for speech offences in the same period.

Genocide is one sided. That’s it. That’s the point. It’s never justifiable.
This was done to a people by their illegal occupier.
This was done to a people by those who trap them there!
Israel is committing genocide against trapped Palestinians in Gaza.
Period.

A powerful piece 👇 addressing the eternal vigilance of women, and the expectation that we restrict our lives as a response to male violence.
How about we deal with violent men instead?

Absolutely right from Louise Casey. The privatisation scandal above all others is not trains or water but care homes.
Exc: Louise Casey, head of the commission on adult social care in England:
-“Mistake” to allow so much privatisation of care sector
-“Profiteering” firms make money off backs of disabled ppl
-Would ban foriegn entities owning UK care homes

@SenatorWong calls women standing up for their sex-based rights a “stunt” and “division”.
When women raise concerns about sex-based protections, she dismisses them as political theatre.
We are talking about women’s privacy, safety, dignity and the right to female-only spaces.
How dare you @SenatorWong insult and disrespect women who want sex based rights.
We do not want men in our spaces. We deserve the right to say NO.
You discriminate against women and our sex.
This is coercive control.
Men are not women.
