Every time I hear Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala speak, I'm reminded never to hide my Nigerian accent. You don't need to sound foreign to be respected. People from all over the world speak confidently in their own accents esp them Indians—I should too.

Some of you need to keep airing your views, so we know and appreciate how vile and callous you are.
I am sure if the decedent’s widow is your family member, your brains would work optimally.
I wish that young lady can take her children and run faraway from the evil people.

That’s a false choice. Access to capital and zip code does matter, BUT pretending marriage has no impact on Black wealth ignores basic economics. It’s very easy for 2 adults to pool their incomes, share expenses, acquire assets, and build generational wealth for their offspring.
Una too strict for this life of dust.😩
I also think people use the word “friend” way too loosely. You’re absolutely allowed to be selective. Even those so-called “top-tier” friends can be completely useless when it matters most.
Yesterday a guy told me his sister wants to be friends with me, so I asked him what’s her profession and where she lives and he said she’s a beautician who works from their family house (ie) nail tech, lash tech and makeup artist who works from home.
I told him no, I can’t be friends with her and he asked why and I told him the simple truth; I don’t make friends with people who are more likely to become liabilities in my life, than be helpful to me.
What am I supposed to do with a lash tech who lives in her parents house? Before you know it she will start billing me for everything as a friend because “you be big lawyer nau”.
My friends are people who can be productive and we can both mutually benefit from each other.
Eg my doctor friends and I exchange legal and medical services for each other and recommendations.
My lawyer friends, I don’t even need to say it. We share briefs, share clients, help each other with cases etc.
My friends in different forces (NPF, Army, Airforce, Navy etc), we help each other professionally.
Heck even my chef friends, I don ever run free legal services and she paid by cooking a weeks worth of food for me to store in my fridge.
Friendship is meant to be symbiotic and unfortunately being friends with some girls in certain hustles is an invitation to parasitism not friendship.
Tf am I supposed to even do with her or gist with her?
At least my other friends we can gist hours together about work experiences, but what do we have to gist about? How a customer didn’t want red nails? Or how a customer under charged her for fixing lashes?🥲😭🤣🤦🏽♀️
Even if I need a beautician, I already have a bevy of trusted makeup artists, I don’t fix nails and my lashes are long naturally so all I need is mascara.
So what exactly do I need her for as a friend? Company? When I prefer being alone with my dogs than with people?
Sha her brother said I am mean but him sef none of his male friends are into such petty hustles but na me suppose befriend financial burden say na friend. LMAOOOO!

Personally, I appreciate the “see finish” phase of a relationship. When the novelty wears off and you begin to see each other as actual people, that’s when intentionality matters most. I love the idea of becoming familiar with someone without becoming careless with them.
That is no damn leadership…that’s how bullies move.
Diddy is a natural born leader.
Instead of sitting down and doing his time; he tries to run the prison. He can't help himself; if there is a hierarchical structure, he will do everything it takes to get to the top.
So much so that he is getting into fights with Jamaican drug warlords. He would rather self-destruct than be underneath anyone or take orders.
People will try and dismiss it; "oh it's just the money". The reason Diddy has money is because he's a natural born leader. Being as young as he was and convincing industry veterans on his vision of music, isn't dumb luck.
Church na military barracks? You want him to flog them before you agree he corrected them… na wa o
Pastor Bolaji had the perfect opportunity to correct these women’s mentality and address the materialistic mindset behind their dating choices.
Instead, he seemingly missed the opportunity to teach them something meaningful by ending the service prematurely, perhaps because he didn’t want to offend his own congregants. 🤦♀️
The women were openly talking about relationships driven by financial benefits, yet the congregation responded with cheers of “Men Dey!” 😂💔
Must a woman reach menopause before she understands the consequences of her choices? Must she sleep with countless men in search of an “Odogwu” before she learns that money alone cannot sustain a healthy relationship?
The church should be a place where people are corrected, challenged, and guided toward better values, not just entertained and applauded.
Sometimes, I genuinely wonder what this generation of churches stands for. Is it about transforming lives, or does correction suddenly become difficult when it might offend members or affect the church’s pocket?
Not every moment calls for applause. Sometimes, people need the truth, even when it makes them uncomfortable. 💔🙏

13. Don’t be the person who constantly puts others in awkward situations that would cause them to lash out.
Dont visit without notice.
Dont overstay your welcome.
Dont bring extra guests without asking. Dont make demands on people’s time and resources as though their lives revolve around you.
Learn to read the room, respect boundaries, and recognise when your presence has become an inconvenience.

This is why I say God's sexual ethics are not arbitrary. He's trying to save us from chaos like this
Secular culture mocks Christian morality. Monogamy is viewed as prudish. Abstinence is for losers. Sobriety is boring. Meanwhile, the children of secular culture are having threesomes in college and snorting ketamine off each other's genitals. Now they're debating about whether one can consent to a threesome, but not an orgy, depending on when the drugs kicked in. This is the consequence of immorality; chaos, trauma, and degradation.
Even Oscar-winning actors don’t give their best performance in every role. There’s no way someone hated or envied you for decades and you never noticed—not even once. At some point, you chose not to see it. Nobody is that good at pretending.

Nigerian men have a cheating kink.
I keep preaching this gospel.
Very very damaged view of women.
Meanwhile they cheat like roadside dogs. Digusting and nauseating double standards.
My greatest shock this morning is people calling me “dodoyo” and “a fool” because I said I dated a girl for 4 years and she never cheated. 😂😂
I’m not bothered. I’m more concerned about how damaged we are as men and how we view women today.
We don’t think loyal women exist anymore. This generation is fucked lol.
