. @LUXXURY @diallo just listened to your excellent episode on Hall & Oates' I Can't Go for That. Re: similar bass lines, Billie Jean does sound like Can't Go for That, but the song it really sounds like is Like a Virgin. Both songs even have the same high syncopated synth rhythm.

Been a fan of King of the Hill since the first episode. Now I get to be part of the show. Thanks to my heroes, Mike Judge and Saladin Patterson, for letting me in the booth. This is from episode 3 of Season 15, and all 10 episodes of S15 are streaming on Hulu now! #kingofthehill

Gotta add one song podcast to this list with @diallo and @LUXXURY. They get into the stems, breaking down everything that makes a song stick in your head! Sometimes they get the artist or producers themselves to talk about the creation and process of crafting these iconic tunes.

During the making of D'Angelo's "Voodoo", there were plans for a Dilla-produced duet between D'Angelo & Lauryn Hill. Lauryn reportedly no showed and nothing ever materialized, but Questlove played a portion of this beat in a 2013 RBMA lecture, one of the four originally made for the collaboration.

@diallo Bruh, you definitely gotta do something with that Hip Hop Piano idea you mentioned on the California Love ep of One Song. I love a good piano in a rap song! Lol. Here's one of my favorite joints. The piano on here is so ill! On The Road Again youtu.be/rdVtWe9GYpc?si=tY2h…

Believe it or not, we discuss VOODOO and D'Angelo towards the end of an upcoming episode of the show. But we are figuring out a way to do a whole episode on that wonderful genius. RIP

Hey @LUXXURY & @diallo Can you guys please do an episode of One Song on D'Angelo? I don't even care what song, just a tribute from you guys would be incredible.
