Im opening up videngineer to creators for free! Many video AI tools are selling a future without editors. Videos done with a click of a button. I'm betting on the opposite. I'm building VidEngineer with creators who want more say in what gets made.

Every week a founder tells me: "We hired an agency. They're handling our videos." You can outsource the editing. You can't outsource knowing why it works. Own your strategy. About to hire one? Reply "engineer" and I'll send you the link.

Okay, what the hell is happening?! I have a calendar that's almost fully booked with partnerships with creators. Distributoor sent a couple of emails this morning, and within 5 minutes, I got a message from one of the biggest youtube strategists that works with brands like MrBeast And, I got creators flooding my inbox with video ideas. Guys, chill! I'm a solo indie builder. I want to enjoy my Sunday, pleaseeeeee. 😅 WAAAAAAAAAH
Over the past 48 hours, I have reached out to almost 50 creators in the video space My calendar booked for the entire week. I'm going to book it even more. How many calls? More calls. majooor push to get creators onto my platform first. Why creators? Because this is who the product is for, essentially. Yes, the founders and high creators that need videos are going to pay the subscription to get their creators on VidEngineer, but the crux operational user is creators. This is why I'm going to work closely with creators to define the features of VidEngineer to meet their needs. The goal is to: Help creators use the power of AI to make better, soulful video faster. Help them navigate workflows powered by AI. If you're a creator, bookmark this post and just DM me. I'm going to have a call with you and get you onboarded on a pro subscription right away!

I’m building the best distribution tool for X. For an audience of one: me. I might never sell it. Here’s the experiment: one founder, a $600/month ceiling, and 60 days to find out what actually moves the business.

The target is 1M monthly impressions. I’m nowhere near claiming that result. By 16 December I’ll share the case study either way: spend, reach, conversations, users, revenue and the bits that broke. Results before a masterclass. Radical concept, I know.

For now, this is a peek inside a working experiment. No tool launch. No playbook giveaway. If you’re a founder or GTM operator building something similar, I’d enjoy comparing notes. What’s one piece of software you built that you’d rather keep for yourself?

A big bottleneck to getting results is identifying too much with what you do. In my case, I identified too much with the content I created, and that led me to work 2 weeks on a piece of content rather than just pumping out sloppy content fast. When you hit the volume game, you do get reach, and you do get results! aka dont hestitate to spam to get users. In a market that's rigged with people with unlimited cash who are out trying to buy distribution, you have to do whatever is necessary. Sending a bunch of emails to a cold list isnt that bad

Stop editing. Make bank with video. Six months ago I couldn't find the cut button. Now I ship a video almost every day, at $800 a video. The craft can be hired out. Tying every video to a business outcome is the job. videngineer.com/creators

It's crazy: just 48 hours from releasing this, I've got so much interest. My calendar is booked throughout the week, and I've started to learn how to make this super cool format called paper cut. Unlike photorealisic, which sometimes comes off as unauthentic. Papercut animations are super cool, super hip, and, more importantly, very cheap to scale. I'm testing out multiple videos and multiple formats with this method, and ofc I'm going to release the guide very soon

Who says Sunday is a bad day to send emails? Well, I don't send emails. I just use @explee Honestly, these guys have made the emails so much more accessible, and I think it might be pricier than using a video tool, but it gets leads! Honestly, I wasted $80 on an automated campaign that wasn't segmented properly. New I've spent about $40, I would say, and that's gotten me 4 leads. I'm mainly looking for solid creators who are going to help me get way more leads, so it's not a bad spend.

Everyone’s selling video like a lottery ticket. Paste a link. Hit generate. Hope it works. I built VidEngineer to study the hook, beats and cuts, then plan a video for your own product. Done posting and praying? Comment “engineer” and I’ll send you the link.
