Going to another country, not learning the language, not embracing the local culture and sticking to your own traditions, is actually the most British thing you can do.

If one wants to illustrate economics of religion - this is a very useful video about price and quality discrimination in monopoly supply of religious services.
VVIP culture in temples should be called out in every way. YouTube channel of Lalbaugcha Raja of Mumbai is full of such videos. You can see how VVIPs are treated and how common devotees are treated in the same video. Aren't all equal before god? Privilege hai ki jaati nahi.

It is clear that this is a difficult year. While the government may save itself to call this a drought for legal and administrative reasons, there is no shying away that it will be a difficult year #Maharashtra #Marathi #waterscarcity #drought #groundwater groundwaterandbeyond.in/2023…

no parent, I repeat no parent should have to bear such news. Terrible. Reminded me of one famous doctor in Mumbai who was washed away in the rains though such a manhole. His body was found far away near Worli seaface
#HyderabadRains Four year old Mithun Reddy gets swallowed by the city’s crumbling infrastructure. Mithun was playing at his house when he fell into an open manhole at 11am today. Incident happened at Mechal, Pragathi Nagar, NRI Colony. They found his body at Nizampet, but was washed away before they could take him out. Search is still on for the child’s remains. Heart goes out to his family, hope they find strength. #Hyderabad #AnotherRainAnotherLife #StaySafe

Don't know about the population but my respect for her has dwindled by 95 % for sure. But I do not blame her/them. I believe this is what happens when we put the 'experts' in a chair & ask them difficult questions forgetting that expertise is a niche The paradox of expertise
Speaking on a World Economic Forum panel, UN "Messenger of Peace", Jane Goodall, advocates reducing the global population down to 450 million—a 95% reduction from today's population: "We cannot hide away from human population growth. Because, you know, it underlies so many of the other problems. All these things we talk about wouldn't be a problem if there was the size of population that there was 500 years ago."
