I’m hoping @Griz can strong arm the venue into land acknowledgement + reparations to do some good. Ethical leisure in the US is basically nonexistent but it’s a spectrum & we should refuse to party on venues that hosted brutalization without modern justice.

The entirety of the U.S. is on stolen land. A shit ton of public parks are built upon former cemeteries/dead bodies. This take, as if it’s the bass community’s fault (the venue previously hosted other fests), is so tunnel vision. To be American is tied to exploitation/murder.
