A huge and celebratory programme this; an event ideal for the @RoyalAlbertHall - and SME's last @bbcproms as MD of @the_halle alongside his beloved family of choirs, celebrated in @jamesmacm's stunning new work. Live on @BBCFOUR4 too... 🙏 🎶😢🍾🥳
Last night my dad Tony Small lost his battle with Cancer. We knew this day was coming but it’s still devastating. He’ll be missed by so many.
RIP Dad ..

As you can imagine I wasn’t happy with the view from my room ! I complained bitterly asking for a room overlooking the back of the hotel & kitchen bins but was told unfortunately they’re fully booked & that wouldn’t be possible. 😬#LSO #SirSimonRattle
