What a monumental day! 103 years after first opening and 13 years after closing, Debs Store is back OutEast, now reborn as The Corner at Debs Store with expanded community services like career counseling from @GoodwillNFL and financial services from @OfficialVyStar. We’re so thankful to all the community champions, partners, donors and supporters who helped us get here.

Getting closer to completion! The new addition at Debs Store got all new brick to match and preserve the well-known look of the store, while doubling in size to become a community cornerstone once again, with broader services thanks to @GoodwillIntl and @OfficialVystar.

The #PurposeBuiltCommunities model has guided our work OutEast these past few years and we're so excited to officially join the @PurposeBuiltCS network to accelerate this vision with the resources of this national network to bring about lasting change with the community.

📆 THIS SUNDAY! Join us in the heart of OutEast for the Melanin Market’s Black History 365 Parade & Celebration from 12 to 5PM! A Philip Randolph Blvd will come alive with a parade celebrating the unique and diverse history and will feature vendors representing over 50 Black-owned businesses, entertainment from local artists and educational tours to learn about OutEast and Jacksonville’s rich African American history.
