Erebor was founded to fill that gap.
It received its national bank charter in February, reported just over $4B in deposits at the end of the second quarter, and now holds more than $7B. Among its first loans, it led a $200M facility for a nuclear developer alongside JPMorgan.
Defence, energy and manufacturing companies need a bank that truly values those sectors.

Rust-Daml Bindings 0.3.0
We’ve just released the latest version of Cantor8’s Rust-Daml Toolkit, bringing the @CantonNetwork ecosystem even closer to the 4-5 million-strong global community of Rust developers.
The Rust client library for Daml on Canton is officially out, marking a clean break into the modern stack. It is a continuation of FujiApple852’s original crates, now maintained and updated by the Cantor8 engineering team.
Important note: v2 only. no v1 compat shim, and LF 1.x support is dropped.

We're working on something big…
Cantor8's development team is currently in the process of building a toolkit to allow programs written in the Rust programming language to communicate with @CantonNetwork's Daml ledgers.
The smart contracts running on Canton are written in Daml (the language developed by @DigitalAsset) and its official tooling is built around Daml and the JVM. While Daml provides many of the advantages that make Canton so successful, it remains niche for now.
Rust, meanwhile, boasts an estimated 5+ million developers worldwide and is used by several major blockchain networks, including @Solana, @StellarOrg, and @NearProtocol.
This new toolkit will provide the translation layer for programs written in Rust, handling all the low-level plumbing so developers can work with Daml contracts through Rust tooling that is familiar to them.
