I think a lot of Canadians will soon want to know what exactly is a 84mm Carl Gustaf anti tank weapon. Here’s the latest version (M4) being currently implemented in infantry units.
The M4 Carl Gustav is being implemented across infantry units. This new capability is now in the hands of our Infantry School, where instructors are being trained to teach soldiers how to employ the weapon effectively.

In May 2026, the Carney gov announced they had entered into negotiations with the Saab/Bombardier JV to sole source purchase 6 GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning & Control aircraft. A plane that the RCAF has never asked for & wasn’t notified in advance of the announcement.
Turns out, it may well have been a hoax/faint announcement aimed at Trump to make it seem like Canada was really considering cancelling part of the F35A contract & buying Gripen E’s from Saab.
According to the AG there’s no actual contractual negotiations or agreement to investigate!

Alert for Grocery Chains in US and Canada, there is a large market share for same systems here. Requires update and patch if systems use Http not Https for connectivity. No claim for attack, ransom, hacker, AI figured it out? Devious to attack food chain. @FoodProfessor
BREAKING: 🇫🇷 A major cyberattack has hit supermarket refrigeration systems across France, reportedly causing fresh and frozen food to spoil after hackers remotely manipulated temperature controls.
According to BFMTV, the attack began overnight from Sunday into Monday, targeting older versions of refrigeration-control software supplied by Danish company Danfoss.
The attackers allegedly exploited the systems’ defrosting function, forcing refrigeration equipment to heat continuously instead of keeping products cold. Temperatures were reportedly set as high as 50°C, destroying entire stocks of food within hours.
Several major supermarket chains have been affected, including Intermarché, Super U and E.Leclerc. Metro stores and independent businesses, including butcher shops also have been impacted.
Around 150 Intermarché stores are reportedly affected, according to industry sources cited by BFMTV. The full number of affected locations remains unclear.
The financial damage is already significant. In Haguenau, Alsace, an Intermarché store reportedly lost its entire frozen-food stock, worth approximately €50,000. A nearby Super U allegedly had to discard both fresh and frozen products, with losses estimated at €220,000. An E.Leclerc store in the same town was also affected, although its losses had not yet been calculated.
The combined losses reported at the Intermarché and Super U stores in Haguenau alone amount to around €270,000. Nationwide damage could reach several million euros.
Intermarché reportedly confirmed the incident in an internal communication, warning that several stores had suffered losses of frozen products. Coopérative U also acknowledged the attack and established crisis teams to assist affected stores and coordinate with refrigeration specialists.
Technical investigations are ongoing, and the full extent of the damage has yet to be established.
Authorities and companies are still working to determine the full circumstances of the attack. The identity of the perpetrators has not been confirmed.
The Industry Minister has proposed a Radiocommunication Act Exemption Order (Jammers — Certain Law Enforcement Agencies). Comments are due November 9. gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2026/…

SpaceX has just officially announced two major milestones for @Starlink Mobile, bringing it one step closer to becoming a full-fledged mobile carrier in the U.S.
1) SpaceX has reached an agreement to acquire nationwide 800 MHz spectrum, which will allow Starlink Mobile to provide better indoor coverage, including signals that can penetrate walls and other obstacles.
2) The FCC has approved SpaceX's next-generation Starlink Mobile constellation of 15,000 satellites, which will deliver over 100x more bandwidth than its current satellites, enabling high-speed internet directly to regular smartphones worldwide.
Once approved by the FCC, SpaceX plans to combine its satellite network with terrestrial infrastructure to create a seamless mobile network that works indoors, outdoors, and in cellular dead zones.
