I’m so excited to share that Natasha Howard’s memoir, “The Vision Through My Lens: My Life in Basketball and Beyond” is available for pre-order.
Tash and I started working together on this over a year ago while she was playing overseas in Turkey. We met over many 2 am FaceTime calls (my time), then in between her practice schedule and game days while she was in Indiana and even while navigating the uncertainty of the CBA negotiations. As I saw the life of a pro, she opened up how she has made it all happen.
Her story, in her own words, is one of resiliency, strength, and the kind of unwavering dedication that it takes to not only win three-WNBA championships but to truly defy the odds.
I can’t thank @THoward_6 enough for trusting me to be a part of the very thing she’s always wanted to do: tell her story, on her own terms.

I asked Angel Reese about her new “Queen of the South” nickname from Hawks star CJ McCollum.
“It is really cool when you men’s team shows love to you … I guess that’s my new nickname - Queen of the South.”

From a WNBA spokesperson:
“As part of our standard process when a team makes an inquiry, we have reviewed multiple video angles and available audio, and spoken with those involved. It is clear on video and audio that Breanna Stewart asked Referee Kevin Fahy about the reset timeout. At that moment, there were multiple overlapping conversations and non-verbal exchanges between the referees, game participants, and also Stewart with Liberty bench personnel, which led to a misunderstanding amongst the various parties. Our referees can certainly handle these interactions better and have been given that feedback. No further follow up is expected on the situation at this time.”

For the cover of @SLAMonline, I asked Kelsey Mitchell about her relationship with Caitlin Clark and their backcourt duo:
“The preseason game in Iowa, I was like, bro, this is some LeBron sh*t…I’m in awe of CC.”
Kelsey dropped so many gems in our interview. Read it here ⭐️

"I've never talked to SLAM magazine before. I've never been a part of the MVP conversation before. All this is kind of like, in a way, gracefully new. It's humbling."
The MVP talk is cool. But for Kelsey Mitchell, the real award is people finally respecting her game.
