i’d rather believe a potential victim than blindly defend a potential sexual predator. the way some of you are demanding that the alleged victim come forward to clarify the situation, even going as far as harassing them just to defend the alleged perpetrator, is absolutely sickening. no one owes you an explanation, especially not at the expense of their own well-being. you can either stay quiet until the truth comes to light or stand with the potential victim.
whether he’s being unfollowed or he’s the one doing the unfollowing, it’s hard to ignore that something serious has happened behind closed doors because why else would so many artists suddenly unfollow him in the same day, including his real-life best friends and his ex-partner of 6 years? even if he was the one doing the unfollowing (which i personally doubt because he’s still seen following some of the people who are no longer following him), it doesn’t make the situation any less concerning. of course, social media activity alone doesn’t prove what happened… but dismissing everything, attacking a potential victim, and demanding explanations just because you want to defend someone you admire is not the way to handle this. not at all. you can acknowledge that the truth is still unknown without invalidating someone who may have been seriously hurt in the process.
speaking up as a SA victim/survivor is never easy, and it never will be. no one should be pressured to share their trauma just to satisfy other people’s curiousity or defend someone else’s reputation. let’s be more careful about how we react to the situation.

even as a woman yourself, if your first instinct is to worry about a man's reputation instead of the victim's trauma, you shouldn't even be allowed to talk. women have been SA by their own dads, uncles, friends & y'all out here defending a man you don't even know? disgusting
THIS IS SO WILD because my friend dew jirawat was rumored to have a boyfriend, the vid reached thousands likes even. and that made people left in shambles because they thought he was the straightest person in the building. and that got him a lot of hate comments. crazy as hell lmfao
