Happy Birthday to my brother and teacher, the greatest physical comedian (Triopenin) since Buster Keaton. His founding work at SNL and his Christmas Vacation movie triumph (snow saucer ride) are examples of his induplicable skills as an actor.
Chevy supported my work at SNL in the face of competing voices. We had to hold our faces in this fixed position for several takes. Maybe Landis was torturing us. Have a great birthday week. @ChevyChaseToGo

45 years ago today, October 7, 1981, 🇨🇦Loverboy released their second album “Get Lucky”.
“Working for the Weekend” only reached #29 on Billboard’s Hot 💯 but it became one of the most recognizable Friday anthems in radio history. Across the country, stations played it late every Friday afternoon to signal the start of the weekend. In Boston, KISS 108's legendary Dale Dorman made it a ritual, blasting the song every Friday at 5pm from 1981 to 2003.

As a kid, I loved Charles Addams’s wonderfully twisted cartoons in The New Yorker. I never could have imagined that years later I’d be asked to step into that world myself as Uncle Fester.
You can imagine my ghoulish delight. It felt like a dream.
