To those who always ask who still uses PHP, I hope the events of today give you a clearer understanding of how many services run on PHP.

But you still haven’t answered my question. What exactly does Flutter do that makes an app feel less polished? Are you pointing to a technical limitation of the framework or simply how developers choose to design their apps? Those are two different things.
Zappy@noelzappyOct 18
At what point do we stop calling it a skill issue and consider that maybe the tool itself contributes to the “problem?”

I am lost, how is this the fault of flutter? Are you saying the tool used to develop an app is why it feels a certain way, and that we should blame the tool rather than the person who used it?
Zappy@noelzappyOct 18
Replying to @TheDumbTechGuy @oniicode
Yeah, and people style it in a way that imo feels less polished. There's this distinct visual language that always gives it away.

Right now, @GhanaLeague shows only one league game live. Why should the other matches simply disappear after 90 minutes? The technology to change this already exists. Veo/Spiideo-style panoramic camera systems can be permanently mounted at league venues, capture the entire pitch and use AI to follow the action automatically. No cameraman or full production crew needed at every ground. That changes the economics completely. Equip approved league venues once, manage the infrastructure centrally, and suddenly EVERY league match can be streamed live. Viewers simply have to pay a subscription fee to watch these games. Look at what Direktesport does in Norway, where football far beyond the top division is accessible. Imagine that ecosystem in Ghana: 🎥 Full-match footage & highlights 🔍 Remote scouting & player exposure 📊 Analysis for clubs and coaches 📱 Content for clubs and fans 🗄️ A permanent digital archive Dear @ghanafaofficial, we don't need to broadcast every game like TV, we need the infrastructure to make every game accessible. 🇬🇭⚽️ #GhanaFootball #GPL #GPLMD1

The IOC is deeply saddened by the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, a three-time Olympian in sailing and Norway’s flagbearer at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games. A great supporter of the Olympic Movement, King Harald V declared open two Games editions in Lillehammer: the 1994 Olympic Winter Games and the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games. His legacy will continue to inspire generations across the Olympic world. Our sincere condolences to his entire family and the people of Norway.
