The internet when they hear Israel was involved: “FALSE FLAG.” Never mind the passengers, crew, investigators, UAE, Saudi Arabia, or British pilots involved. Apparently the second Israel enters the story, the conspiracy theory becomes more believable than the actual event.

I booked a Pronto service for the first time, and what the lady who came to help us with cleaning told us about her working conditions was honestly quite disturbing. She reports at 6:30 AM and works until around 7 PM. That's roughly 12.5 hours a day, and she gets around ₹700 a day, which comes to barely ₹60 an hour. There is no fixed lunch break. The maximum break they get is around 20 minutes, and she told us that sometimes this break can be as late as 5 PM. No fixed timings. There are apparently no proper washroom facilities or place to rest between bookings. Some workers end up sitting in public parks and are driven away by the police. And not everyone gets a scooty. Those who don't have one have to walk from one booking to another, sometimes 20–40 minutes. She also told us that they were initially told they would get one day off as menstrual leave during periods. But when she actually asked for a day off, she was told to just take a 30-minute break and come back. She told them that it takes more than 30 minutes to get back home. She asked if she could take the entire day off and was told that ₹700 would be deducted for that day. Apparently, if they take leave for more than two days, their daily rate itself can be reduced for the subsequent days. The lady who came to our home is planning to work only until Diwali. She said that cleaning work picks up around this time, and she wants to leave the platform as soon as she can. This is the side of India's “convenience economy”. For us, it's just a booking on an app for a dirt-cheap price. Someone comes home, gets the work done, and leaves. But behind that convenience is someone working 12+ hours a day, travelling between bookings, with barely any break and very little control over their own time. Almost felt inhumane. Hearing all of this made me feel quite bad. Startups creating employment shouldn't become a justification for poor working conditions.
🚨 At just 23, Anjali Sardana built Pronto, a Bengaluru-based 10-minute home services startup now valued at ₹800 crore.

Help needed. As a proud Indian, can you advise me on India’s position? Is China a friend or enemy? Is the boycott of Chinese goods still on? Can I buy Chinese goods? Who Is India’s friend - America or China? Did Chinese attack Galwan valley? Or No? I ask this because while we have been asked to boycott Chinese goods while trade deficit with China more than doubled from USD 52 Billion in 2015 to USD 112 billion in 2025. Your advise would help me be patriotic and behave a true Indian.

To me a dehati is not someone who wears a dhoti and a pagadi, or doesn't know which hand to hold the fork and knife. It is the urban dehati who cannot wait for people to come out of a lift before barging in. Who pushes to get into a metro, rather than waiting for people to disembark. Who tailgates with an SUV honking the horn, when there is no where to go, because we are all in the same traffic. Who screams at "servants" because they are "low" since they don't speak English. Who will cut in front of a line, because they're the only one entitled not to wait. Who will litter out of the car window, then complain about the garbage on the streets. These are the urban dehatis. What else do they do?
A word about the recent social media trend of shaming "dehatis" India is growing fast A lot of people are seeing certain things for the first time When Srinivasa Ramanujan went to Cambridge in 1914, he couldn't understand how the blankets were tucked under the mattress. And so he slept on top of the blankets, shivering in cold. So remember that a lot of people may not have had the exposure and opportunities you had. That does not make them less than you. Remember to always be humble. And always grateful. In a few more years, most Indians will get used to a lot of new things. Stay hopeful. Let us keep building. Let us keep improving India. Because there is no greater nationalism than improving the lives of our people.

Met a German founder this week and asked him if all the stories one reads about the challenges of startups in Germany are exaggerated. "No, they're understated." Proceeded to describe spending a full day having a 90-page investment contract read to him (mandatory under German law; § 13 BeurkG) by a notary that then charged €30,000. That was for his first company. His second company, needless to say, was not incorporated in Germany.

As expected, Ruchika singh is now facing de@th and R@pe threats after @JaipurDialogues guy leaked her personal details on Twitter. Imagine the guy is so sick that he has also leaked her phone number. Police on the other hand has not withdrawn any FIR and is searching for her as if she is a hardcore criminal. The poor girl is into hiding just to save herself. Imagine a 15 yo has to go through all this just cuz she exercised her democratic right. At the end she says “i won’t be able to tolerate” If anything happens to her @JaipurDialogues must be held accountable.

I have been watching this pomp and show since 2014. The worst part is not just the waste, it’s that many of our own common people are actively participating in it or cheering it on. This is sheer wastage of taxpayers’ hard-earned money. Sadly, a large section of the population remains silent spectators. As the saying goes, the world is not destroyed by the violence of bad people, but by the silence of good ones. I don’t know when common citizens will finally start demanding the true value of their own money. Till then… Sab Changa Si. #Modi #Roadshow #spiderman

Master stroker played his game nicely again. He took the whole narrative away from the students, fair exams, education reforms and the deaths, protests, anger, frustration and the police/RAF brutality during protests, and brought the entire focus on himself. Punished the students by sending police after them then came online to forgive them for abusing him. The same man who has abused everyone in opposition, women in the past (verbally and otherwise), and even the PM's position for the last 12 years. What a classic gaslighter!! Thanks to all his flying monkey IT cell, godi media and bhakt gan. Without them this wouldn't be possible. But the victory is his. Over a little girl!! I hope he feels on top of the world now. That's your 'man' sitting on the highest chair of a so called mother of democracy.

Delhi Police is frantically issuing takedown notices and filing FIRs to scrub social media of posts criticizing the Prime Minister during the recent protests, giving credence to the slogan “Jab jab Modi darta hai..” But since when is an elected representative above questioning? In a functioning democracy, citizens have every right to demand answers and accountability from their PM. By treating online criticism as a criminal offense and a threat to "public order", the state machinery is sending a chilling message: the Prime Minister is beyond the reach of public scrutiny. Why can’t ordinary people on social media ask questions to the very man they elected to serve them? Does the Delhi Police genuinely believe he is "non-biological" and therefore immune to the questions and frustrations of mere mortals?
Delhi Police have written to 'X' (formerly Twitter) in connection with a complaint that "derogatory, malicious and defamatory content is being circulated on social media platform targeting constitutional heads." The Police have asked the platform to 1. Delete/remove the alleged post/video from the platform immediately. 2. Provide the complete registrant details such as full name, address, contact details and email ID of the X account ID holder from which the above content is posted including login and logout details with time and date stamp. 3. Any other relevant information which may be useful for investigation of this case. 4. The details related to the alleged post/video may please be preserved for future 5. Certificate u/s 63(4) of BSA.

This one of Modi's most expensive and least talked about failures. Spent 1000s of crores on airports in dozens of cities and all have shut down or on verge of shutting down. #repeat I said this long ago. Modi Government is worse than a broken clock. Woh galti say bhi kabhi kuch cheez sahi nahi kar sakte.

India could have been a semiconductor superpower in 1964 but Congress spent the next 50 years making sure every opportunity was killed before it started, the story of what we lost becomes impossible to read without anger. In 1964 Robert Noyce, the co-founder of Intel, came to India with a complete blueprint to make this country the global leader in chip manufacturing. He did not come empty handed. He came with the technology, the vision and the intent to build something that would have changed India's trajectory for generations. Congress sent him to 50 government offices. He got tired. He left. He went to Hong Kong. And Hong Kong's fortunes changed instead of ours. That was not bad luck. That was a policy outcome. The story did not end there. In 1989 India's only chip plant, SCL Mohali, burned down in a fire. The government took 8 years to rebuild it. 8 years. In a sector where technology generations turn over faster than most government files get processed. Then 2005. Intel was ready to bring a 700 million dollar plant to India. UPA government refused to offer tax incentives. Intel walked. In the same era AMD's imported equipment sat at Indian ports for years gathering dust before being sent back to the country it came from. By 2014 India did not have a single commercial chip fabrication plant. Not one. The country that produces a significant portion of the world's semiconductor engineers. The country that built ISRO's computational infrastructure. The country whose mathematicians and scientists power Silicon Valley. Had zero chip plants of its own after 50 years of governance that treated every serious investor like a bureaucratic inconvenience. Now look at the last 12 years. Over 25 billion dollars committed under India's Semiconductor Mission. Micron's plant operational in Gujarat. 80,000 wafers being produced monthly at Taloja. Tata's Assam plant packaging 48 million chips daily. Tata Electronics partnering with ASML for the Dholera fab. India entering the semiconductor supply chain that three countries controlled for decades. The talent was always here. The difference between 1964 and 2024 is not technology. It is not capital. It is not engineering capability. It is a government that finally said yes instead of sending the investor to the 51st office.

During UPA govt, Sony TV did a comedy show where they mocked Dr Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi They literally trolled Sonia Gandhi for her accent and weaker grip on hindi 💔 But Congress never played victim card, and didn't run after the actors or producers INC used to take jokes, abuses, trolling everything with smile on faces. Never claimed that trolling a politician or PM was like going against India That's the difference

“RSS doesn’t teach ppl to hate other religions.” Well.. every hardcore RSS supporter I hv personally known had 2 things in common: - Their parents supported the RSS too. Their RSS loyalty wasn’t something they independently discovered.. it was inherited as a family ideology. - They carried a deep dislike for Muslims and Christians. And the irony? Many of them would happily move to Dubai, Canada, the US or Australia.. countries where Hindus are a minority.. and expect to be welcomed and treated with respect, while carrying hostility toward religious minorities back home. That contradiction is hard to ignore. #andhbhatkhs
