When the Halal cart guy tells me $9.50 for a hot dog
People who use delivery apps should be charged 3x. Get off your fat ass and go pick it up yourself.
Hey @McDonalds ..... what the fuck?
This is the delivery price, for ONE SINGLE Mcdouble. Before it even gets to the cart with delivery fees and a tip.
But the pick up price is $2.99?
Why such an insane upcharge, when you're just going to use doordash to deliver it? It's not like you're paying extra employees to bring it to me. And you sure as hell aren't giving it to the delivery drivers.
A $1 increase is reasonable when you are using a third party, kind of. BUT $6 MORE, PER BURGER? ARE YOU HIGH?
You already charge service fees, PLUS delivery fees. And if I don't tip to someone's standards, I might get dookie hands rubbed all over my food.
Yes I could drive the 8 miles to the closest location. My husband could also decide he wants to pay a doordasher a decent tip to just drop it off at our home.
We just won't do either. We'll eat real burgers from a local establishment instead.
My husband had a hankerin' and now he's just even more disappointed in what you've become.
How much are you tipping a person for sliding a $60 loaf of bread into a bag?
The same people waiting in line for Froyo are the same people buying a $60 loaf of bread.
How the restaurant burger went from cheap everyday food to a $30+ luxury item. Beef prices are a big part of the story.
