That's it, we're adding Thomas Goodwin to the Library. xitter.cf/MattSmethurst/status/2…

7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:7-11

We are doing our best, Pastor! 🫡

The reformation of the church and society must begin with the reformation of the household. We cannot reasonably expect churches to be spiritually healthy, communities to be godly, or nations to be righteous if the families that make up those institutions are neglecting their Christian duties. If fathers are not teaching their children the Scriptures, leading their households in prayer, practicing godliness, and cultivating obedience to Christ, how can we expect widespread spiritual renewal? Not sure where to start? Let Devotus faithfully guide your family through daily worship with prayer, Scripture reading, reflective commentary, catechism, and a hymn to sing together as a family.

Research begins in the morning. 🫡

I appreciate the encouragement! I pray the Lord uses it to strengthen and grow many individuals and families in their times of devotion. 🫡 I should have A Body of Divinity by Thomas Watson ready this week. I plan to continue adding resources on a consistent basis.

Not at the moment, but that is going to change. I hadn’t considered it, but it’s a great idea. Adding it to the development roadmap! 🙌🏻 Which psalter would you recommend I use to populate the app?
