Albert Breer asked 17 coaches/executives around the NFL who they’d pick between Caleb Williams and Drake Maye to build their franchise around. 18 won by a 12-5 margin. 👀 “You call a perfect D and still get beat, just like Josh [Allen] and [Patrick] Mahomes.”- NFL Asst. GM “It’s Caleb; it wouldn’t really be close for me. More ability, keeps getting better, gives you a chance to win every game and he’s clutch.” - NFL OC via @AlbertBreer

Sources: The #Bears have had interest in trading for defensive help, including interest in DeForest Buckner, who wanted to be back in San Francisco. Chicago is still scouring the defensive market and they’ve been linked to Khalil Mack by rival teams.

The Bears have made serious inquiries around Chargers ED Khalil Mack, per @StevenIHaglund I would not be shocked if Ryan Poles gets a deal done. Lots of smoke around both Mack and Chicago. A reunion would be fun to think about

According to @StevenIHaglund, The Chicago Bears have made serious inquiries around Chargers EDGE Khalil Mack. Crazy to think the that Poles would get the guy back that he traded away to kick off The Bears 3-year rebuild when he first became the GM in '22. 🙏

Caleb Williams has played at a such a high level since coming back. The scary thing? I don’t think he’s even at 100%. He looks a step slower evading pressure after the hamstring injury. And he’s still throwing the ball insanely well. Crazy to think of how good he’s been. #Bears

According to Packer fans, only two results can occur in a Packer game: Packers win, or refs screwed Green Bay.

Bears were in?! That’s fascinating. I’m guessing that means they would’ve kicked Joe Thuney to left tackle.
