I'm still reviewing code across Dashbit's projects and my open source projects. And, because of coding agents, I am reviewing significantly more code than before.
Compared to last year, how much code are you reviewing?
63%More code
9%About the same
14%Less code
15%I no longer review code

I’ve started writing again, but as my job has changed a lot in the last 5 years, that means my writing will as well. Still, I hope people find value in it.

Me and @devoncestes will be going for a pre-dinner stroll in Berlin tomorrow around 4PM, maybe see some sites, and grab a 🍻 or two.

Today was my last day at @remote, so if folks know of any open Engineering Manager or Staff Engineer positions I'd be grateful for the leads!
Resume here: devonestes.com/resume
I’ve never before seen something that so concisely illustrates the hubris of youth. I remember being that person, and am so happy now that I’m no longer that person.
Amusing (and light-hearted) observations from GenZ software engineers about their "older" colleagues.
I've known about @t3dotgg and @theprimeagen as dev channels to watch on YouTube, but not about some other channels.
And yes, I joke about 'bus factor.'
