How does a school system have restorative practice measures in place, but the stakeholders have never had or very limited training in the work?
@iirpgradschool, I personally thank you for my academic training and proud graduate with my degree, that was obtained in a pandemic

So North Carolina went blue across the board except for president. Dem Governor, Dem Lt Governor, Dem school superintendent, Dem AG, and 2 dem reps. And Trump. Do I have that right?
Working in a school system that isn’t fully restorative is a major challenge. The key ingredient is learning the student and then how to best support them, while repairing the harm.

I don’t know if I should be more embarrassed for the City of Chicago or for the girl(s) who made a fool of herself here.
But, when a clown is running your city and continues to make excuses for this behavior what can truly be expected at this point? He has reduced police to babysitters, while making sure his hair and make up look “camera ready” as people are shot and dying and the DNC is coming and sure to be a shhhh show. But hey, silly kids do silly things.
What’s crazier ?
1. Girls twerking on top of the police car
2. Tampon about to fall out of the girl’s kitty #Chicago
