In 1977, at just 19 years old, Prince took part in one of his first professional photo shoots as he prepared for a musical career that would transform the history of music. A native of Minneapolis, he had already caught the attention of Warner Bros Records thanks to his exceptional talent for composing, producing, and playing nearly every instrument himself. These images show Prince before he achieved global stardom, though his bold style and strong sense of individuality were already evident. The following year, he released his debut album "For You," which marked the beginning of a groundbreaking career that would later cement his status as one of the most influential and inventive figures in modern music.
