The thing I’m most grateful to Elon for is bringing back an age of wonder and excitement to humanity. That was jaw-dropping awesome! Screams and mouths wide open in the audience. Nuts.

I have asked my clanker to send some PRs for the Elixir one. Please ask your clanker to verify them and tell your clanker we are allowed to deviate from the Rails version in the same way Express/Go/Rust/ do (it was objecting to that in other PRs)!
The clanker says there is more work to be done but I don't have infinite tokens, so it would be nice to see those merged first.

made a small thing: s1, a TUI for testing System One (jev-like) models.
fill in a state, pick a type, write an instruction, get a typed answer back: noul, choice, or score; with calibrated confidence. all from the terminal.

A Sedum test is just sentences:
click the Add to cart button for Monstera
click the Cart link
click the Checkout button
type {{name}} in the Full name field
Here I renamed the Checkout button to "Continue to payment" and didn't touch the test. Still passes.
It's alpha, so the format will change. Works on macOS, Linux and Windows. MIT. Open Source. Bring-your-own key.

I'm CTO at @Timeline_Tech. We're shipping more than ever, all of it written with agents, and we needed e2e tests that keep up: easy to grow, resilient, and cheap enough to run all the time.
So I built Sedum on top of Jev. Thanks @typesafeai for making the numbers work.
AI e2e browser tests exist, but they're slow and bill you per step. So teams run them once in a while instead of on every PR.
I wanted them on every PR, so I built Sedum on Jev and open sourced it.

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke: It’s impossible to make great products if you don’t give a sh*t
“Every product in the world, at the end of the day, is simply a reflection of how much the people who created it gave a sh*t… It is not possible to make great products if the people who work on it do not give a sh*t about the product.”
Tobi continues:
“I actually think this is a very important role for product leaders: To make sure that the team gives a sh*it… The product leader has to give a sh*t. Do not engage in work on a product that you don’t care about.”
Tobi believes anyone who wants to build great products has two roles:
1. “You have to understand the thing that’s being done better than everyone else.”
2. “You’ve got to be exothermically infectious with actually caring about this thing because just that one thing alone will make a 10x better product. It’s crazy how much of a change this makes.”

Probably just a case of embers getting to that house and the firefighters protecting those around it because it was too far gone. There were reports of 8-foot pieces of brush/trees flying through the air with the winds.

Breaking through to a better idea by subtraction, rather than addition, is the most satisfying kind of breakthrough.

"The best designers and the best programmers aren’t the ones with the best skills, or the nimblest fingers, or the ones who can rock and roll with photoshop or vim, they are the ones that can determine what just doesn’t matter. That’s where the real gains are made."

In any organization/product it's much easier to add complexity than remove it.

“So next time you hear something, or someone, talk about an idea, pitch an idea, or suggest an idea, give it five minutes. Think about it a little bit before pushing back, before saying it’s too hard or it’s too much work.” 🎯 signalvnoise.com/posts/3124-…
