NMTD just added another 11 Hypurr NFTs to his collection
He now holds 41 Hypurrs, making him a top-3 holder in the collection.
He paid 2,400 $HYPE (~$190K) for the 11 new NFTs.
But that’s not all.
Just 8 hours ago, @NMTD8 sold his Hypurr #9 for 4,000 $HYPE ($317K). Insane.
Interesting fact: He bought Hypurr #9 from @izebel_eth just 3 weeks ago for 2,222 $HYPE ($203K)
This GOAT continues to make an incredible contribution to the Hypurr collection.
Thank you, NMTD
NMTD has invested over $1M in the Hypurr NFT collection
He is one of the largest holders and owns the biggest collection of rare Hypurrs in a single wallet.
So far, he has invested over $1M and holds 31 Hypurrs.
His 10 most expensive Hypurr purchases:
• Anonymous Donor by Jeff — 4,500 $HYPE ($204K)
• Hypurr #9 — 2,222 $HYPE ($203K)
• Hypurr #2 — 2,400 $HYPE ($187K)
• Hypurr #3 — 6,900 $HYPE ($174K)
• Hypurr #12 — 1,777 $HYPE ($157K)
• Hypurr #1660 — 1,335 $HYPE ($62K)
• Hypurr #96 — 1,505 $HYPE ($61K)
• Hypurr #1088 — 859 $HYPE ($32K)
• Hypurr #75 — 1,000 $HYPE ($31K)
• Hypurr #72 — 868 $HYPE ($25K)
@NMTD8 has made a huge contribution to the Hypurr collection and the wider Hyperliquid ecosystem.
A true Hyperliquid believer who will, one day, be rewarded once again.

UPDATE: I can confirm that the Ledger supply chain is compromised in Europe as well. @Ledger should initiate an immediate product recall to protect users.
I just purchased a second device from a different Mediamarkt location today, recorded the unboxing process, and discovered spyware once again (video linked in the second tweet).
The device was compromised in the exact same manner, featuring identical modifications (such as additional cables and an LTE module). This indicates its a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident, potentially affecting Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores throughout Europe (comprising over 1,000 stores across 11 countries).
My initial hypothesis was that these devices were returns that looked unopened to the employees and were just sold again as new however, a MediaMarkt employee confirmed that the device I purchased was not a return, and that returned Ledgers are sent directly back to the manufacturer rather than resold.
Store records show the inventory originated from Aqipa GmbH. While Ledger's CTO was unsure if Aqipa serves as the direct distributor between Ledger and MediaMarkt, it appears to be the case. Given that Aqipa distributes across Europe, any physical retail store receiving stock through them may be at risk.
I sent the first ledger to mark and the second one is going to ledger now, so that they can analyse it.
If you purchased a ledger from anyone other than the official ledger store, make sure to check your device!!
.@BasedOneX was sketchy from day one, so i wasn’t even going to post about this
but shubit’s post saying they wouldn’t address the data leak or the team’s serial rugs made me write one
now her second post claims i misunderstood the issues, so i’m posting again
the issues i raised:
1. they had a security incident before, didn’t disclose it, and paid just $50 as a bug bounty
2. another security incident happened, and they’re trying to brush it off without a proper explanation
3. the Based team launched and rugged tokens while pretending they weren’t involved
all shubit wants to correct in that wall of ai slop and her replies is when the first incident happened. seven months ago, not five. just a date correction
is that really what matters here? you made us read all that just to correct a date?
did Based learn nothing from the icobeast mess at kalshi?
you made $22m leeching off hyperliquid
use that money to compensate the victims of the data leak and your token rugs
I want to clear a few things up, because two very different stories are getting blended together.
First, the card dashboard incident from Oct 5 is real. Someone accessed cardholder KYC data, and we take that seriously. It's right that people are talking about it. Funds were safe, and affected users have been notified. If you hold a Based card, please stay vigilant, as phishing attempts may use your real details. We will only contact you through in-app support. Any DM on X or Telegram claiming to be Based support is a scam.
The AI dashboard story being reshared alongside it is a separate incident from back in March.
That one was discovered by one of our die-hard users, who was always digging through our site to see what we were building next. It was an internal OpenClaw dashboard the team was experimenting with. It was never public-facing or launched. He flagged it, we shut it down, rotated the keys, and thanked him for catching it. The keys were for our internal AI gateway with usage caps. Card dashboard was kept separate.
We recognize that even internal experiments need to be handled with the right level of care. We appreciate the user who brought it to our attention, and we take these situations as opportunities to improve.
-
We've been through similar situations before, and each time, we've tried to clarify what happened. We understand that trust takes time to build, and people have every right to ask questions and expect clear answers from us.
What makes these situations difficult is that even after the facts are clarified, the original posts often continue to circulate while the follow-up receives much less attention. We hope to get the full context across this time, and we'll continue to be open and clear whenever concerns arise.
-
I also want to share a bit about how we've grown and where we're headed.
Based has been listed in Hyperliquid's docs since the early days, and we're proud to be featured on their site. But our growth hasn't come from the docs alone. Builder Codes were designed to help teams bring new users into Hyperliquid, and that's what we've focused on: introducing people to the ecosystem who might not otherwise have joined.
We're continuing to explore new ways to grow across Web2 and Web3, including community-led initiatives and UGC. Our goal is to keep bringing new users into the ecosystem while building products that give them more reasons to stay.
We know trust is earned through actions, not words. We'll keep listening, improving, and building.
> be edison
> vibe code your way into being a builder
> split your team into separate projects over 2 years
> launch 4+ tokens
> pretend 3 of them have nothing to do with you
> rug 3 tokens
> spend $50 to keep an admin dashboard hack quiet
> leak all your customers' data, including passport info
> act like nothing happened
> keep posting milestones on twitter
> get kicked out of hyperliquid
yeah lol just checked and @BasedOneX is gone. it used to be right at the top too
right call imo
for anyone who missed it:
Based vibe coded its platform → admin access got compromised 5 months ago → the user who found it got a whopping $50 bug bounty → 5 months later, another incident leaked users’ kyc data (passport numbers, addresses, names)
their only real edge was a hl builder code, and now one of their main onboarding channels is gone
on top of the hack, there are also allegations that team members have been launching and rugging other projects while pretending they had nothing to do with based
and they said they won’t address either issue. no compensation either, of course

Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to make it to Monday's community event. Multiple members of the ecosystem hosted their own events to celebrate Hyperliquid and the community throughout the week. Thank you to every organizer for the hard work and dedication behind each one.
The builder booths were a highlight for many. To everyone building on Hyperliquid: thank you for bringing more of finance onchain and spreading the word.
Since last year, even more builders, users, and institutions have contributed to the ecosystem's growth. Hyperliquid's vision is to be infrastructure to house all finance, and every year, that vision becomes more of a reality.
The @BasedOneX founder's (@edison0xyz) stance
When I asked why they covered up the admin dashboard getting hacked in May, his stance was... it happened five months ago, they paid a bug bounty and fixed it, so isn't that enough?
So leaked keys are just something you shrug off...? And then five months later, the admin dashboard gets hacked again, and passport numbers, addresses, phone numbers, names, etc. linked to wallets get stolen again?
Should people like this really be running a payments business while going on about being a financial app or whatever?

Apparently, the latest personal data incident wasn't the first security lapse at @BasedOneX lol.
HyTorch, a member of the Korean community, shared an earlier incident: they stumbled across a Kubernetes dashboard used for BASED's AI agents, clicked “Sign in with Google,” and somehow got logged in as an admin.
According to their post, Telegram bot tokens, AI API keys(including OpenAI keys)and OpenClaw gateway tokens were all visible.
They say they received 1,000 BASED as a bug bounty. About $60.
@edison0xyz , are you actually keeping things under control? From where I'm standing, you don't look fit to run a business of this scale.

Damn, I heard that @BasedOneX leaked our passport numbers. And phone number and home address, too, lol.
I was just trying to get a credit card, but now I have to deal with identity theft and threats to my safety.
Hey, @edison0xyz how about you post your passport number and address on Twitter, too? base official Twitter account hasn’t been very active lately, anyway.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to yesterday's event! Huge shoutout to @Valinorae for fulfilling a grand architectural vision down to the smallest details, @jaygee_hl for the top tier execution and coordination, and @iliensinc for the tireless work behind the scenes. Also thank you @RitzCarlton #Singapore for going above and beyond and for your warm hospitality. The community and ecosystem are deeply grateful to you all for putting on the best event that I and many others have ever experienced.
It's incredible to see how far Hyperliquid has come and the momentum with which the ecosystem is growing. Looking forward to another year of building alongside the ever-growing community.

$PRL friends. I have a present for you.
Meet prlstats.com
My first draft at understanding the network from an energy perspective:
- how much does it cost to mine / how profitable is mining and for whom?
- a thesis check: is PRL on track to profitably climb its way to blockchain energy dominance?
I'd love your feedback. What is blatantly wrong? What's missing? Very much a beta!
Some interesting findings so far:
- Doesn't seem to make sense to mine uselessly on frontier hardware ($2.24/PRL cost). But does make sense on idle already paid for GPUs ($0.68/PRL) or during inference ($1.31 at 12% loss, and less with new kernels).
- PRL already uses 0.65% of Bitcoin's energy at only 0.15% of the FDV. Very interesting.
For those of you who are just tuning in -- I am a big $ZEC guy because I believe privacy is a human right and I like how Zcash delivers privacy on L1 with a plan to deliver it to the world. That's why I created zecstats.com
On $PRL, my thesis is that I think it may eventually dominate energy security in blockchains. The fact that PoUW is already showing the desired affect in our math here is promising.
I don't consider these two monies direct competitors. I think they have different target markets for the next many years.
Gimme your thoughts below or in DMs if necessary. Fixes won't be immediate but will come.
