If anyone’s read this far and is still doubting, just hear this.  Streamers and film studios are mostly gambling like they’re degens, and losing billions (yes, with a B). They don’t know wtf they’re doing. Largely because they’ve fired the story lovers that used to run studio divisions.  We don’t need them; THEY NEED US.    So is it doable? YES. 
I say that as a director and producer, and sometimes writer. I've directed commercials for major brands and worked professionally across film, storytelling and brand building. I know a lot of professional story-makers. I have some connections in the independent film distribution world in the US and Europe. Connections to managers, agents, and threads that could lead to a lot of the people we’d need.  I’ve already started connecting with a few people. All I want to know is whether you believe in the idea.  It’s a way to illustrate what happens when human beings choose to believe. And choose integrity, courage, loyalty, love, or agency in a world built around disconnection and mindless numbing.

Of course there are films about finance world: - The Big Short - Dumb Money (GME story) - Wolf of Wallstreet – more about extravagance, eh. - Margin Call – watching it all unravel - Boiler Room – underrated movie! personal fav But go deeper in theme & character depth... I recently watched "Network" (1976) and omg there's a Ned Beatty speech that's fucking unhinged and 1000% applies in 2026, seriously the heart of the corporate octopus of enslavement. Obviously "Terminator 2" is also an epic classic and has lots of thematic relevance with its AI narrative. Also the Terminator defending John is *over-the-top relentless* and very SPX-coded I'm gonna put forward a favorite (probably in my top 5 films period): "MICHAEL CLAYTON" starring George Clooney: One of the corporate defense attorneys in the film has a nervous breakdown and almost goes into psychosis from years defending a sickening Monsanto-esque giant in a class action lawsuit. (Very "Erin Brokovich" in some ways.) The writing is off the charts – it was nominated for SEVEN Oscars. Aeons, tell me your picks! Maybe we can start using new movie clips to mog the system and expand our creative marketing.
