🔹 More Capacity: Expanding to 80 dedicated bus bays to handle growing traffic.
🔹 Smart Transit: Introducing computerized ticketing and automated scheduling systems to streamline arrivals, departures, and parking.
🔹 Financially Strong: Revenue between FY 2018–19 and 2025–26 hit Rs 668.2M, with Rs 431M safely reserved in the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation’s general fund for future growth.
Established back in 1976 across 210 kanals, the terminal serves nearly 40,000 commuters daily and sees roughly 65 vehicles hourly. This makeover will deliver safer, faster, and much more modern travel for everyone! 🚍✨

The federal government has secured $705 million for three key sections of the long-awaited #M6 #Sukkur #Hyderabad Motorway, with major contracts anticipated to be awarded by late 2026.
However, funding and execution delays remain a central topic of discussion. During a recent Senate Standing Committee meeting led by Senator Quratulain Marri, lawmakers raised serious concerns over project timelines and the broader management of foreign-funded development projects under PSDP 2026–27.
Key Financial Highlights:
🔹 Total Foreign-Funded Projects: 98 active projects valued at over Rs 8,099 billion (including Rs 4,649+ billion in foreign assistance).
🔹 Rupee Cover Shortfall: While Rs 537 billion was requested for rupee cover, fiscal limits led the National Economic Council (NEC) to approve Rs 255 billion out of an overall Rs 1,000 billion PSDP budget.
