4 years into tech, I finally had the “10x faster = did something smart, 100x faster = you were doing something very dumb” moment.
The database query went 100x faster.
The fix?
Adding an index.

@jarredsumner is now porting @bunjavascript 's uWS library from C to Rust. uWebSockets & usockets is behind their HTTP/WebSocket server and event loop.
AI coding models will spawn a generational surge of knowledge-gaps and tech-debt over the next decade and the aftermath will be... messy, massive, and unavoidable.
The best thing I've learned over the years in software development is to ask this question:
"Do we really need to..."
Wrote a simple blog post explaining the inner-workings of the Tiny WAL and how it differs from the Unison's implementation.

Trying to fix the styling for images for my blogs since the last 30 minutes. CSS is really hard and confusing ngl.
Planning to write a simple mutex from scratch in go. Found a great blog that does the same and then compares it with std mutex.
Here we go!
Wrote a simple blog post on how I created the dev-blog using the "ABC" Stack.

Yo, it's time to write some blogs!

(P.S. - Special thanks to Gemini for creating the UI in 2-shot)
Google need Sonnet/Opus like coding models merged with Gemini-cli to get the current market %. Google need to study Anthropic's secret magic to make their models great at coding.
Got nerd sniped again by this amazing paper from @a1zhang showing RLM (Recursive Language Models) in action. Implemented an PoC using Bun.
The process behind it is smart but simple one and I think it could be huge in near-future with some tweaks.

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
Good Morning peeps,
> Nothing new to update as I got nerd snipe into implementing ToT (Tree of thoughts) for AI Agents.
> Love the video from @BenjDicken talking about the hidden cost of indexes and lookups
> Going to implement a simple load-balancer in Go later today.
I tried LeetCode today, got stuck on an "Easy" palindromic string question, and 15 minutes later was asking myself, "Am I too dumb for this?"
But at least I solved a "Medium" zigzag pattern question for the day. I need more brain-powa to solve that easy one.
